Build Quality & PresentationThe quality of these pumps is top-tier. They have the weight and finish of a much more expensive designer shoe, and they feel incredibly sturdy. I was particularly impressed by the manufacturer’s packaging; they arrived in an aesthetic vacuum-sealed bag inside a matching box, with each shoe protected by its own individual dust cover. I was honestly surprised by how beautiful they look in person compared to the listing.Sizing & Fit IssuesI ordered a size 8.5 to accommodate a size 8.5–9 foot. However, I ran into two specific issues:• The Slingback: The strap is a bit too long and doesn't sit snugly against the heel.• The Footbed: My foot landed slightly shorter on the back of the shoe than it should have.RecommendationBecause the slingback is quite loose, I would suggest ordering a half-size down from your usual size. Beautiful slingback Mary Janes, expect a breaking in period.
These NEWBELLA platform slingbacks look great and are a relatively easy set of high heels to walk in. The platform and block heel feel very stable on a variety of surfaces. I did find the footbed and toe box a bit stiff, probably because of the patent finish. This stiffness will likely lessen with wear, but they did constrain my foot flexion and toes. The toe box itself is roomy and square, but the heel height and slingback strap will force your foot downward. That, coupled with the stiffness did get uncomfortable about an hour into wearing these. The slingback strap is adjustable, fortunately mine fit perfectly right out of the box. If you have wide feet or are between sizes I would definitely recommend sizing up because of the stiffness of the toe box.The soles of these have a faint tread to them which I found a bit slippery on smooth tile flooring. These walked well on carpet, hardwoods, and concrete.Overall these are fantastic looking platforms with a good heel height to instep ratio. The slingback strap is comfortable and not irritating. No strap slippage. Patent finish is beautiful, these are good quality for the price. Expect a breaking in period due to the stiffness of the upper material and toebox.

These square toe, platform, slingback pumps are so beautiful. I love the style, the shape, the color, the shine and the chunky heel. They're so comfortable too. They fit perfectly, and they don't pinch the ball of my foot or my toes. They're so comfortable walking in them. I chose my usual size,7 and a half, and they're true to size.
