Honestly, I know nothing about how ballet shoes are supposed to fit. I got these for an adult ballet/ stretch class. They seem very well made. They're a little tight on my toe, but maybe they're supposed to be, or maybe they'll stretch out. They have a drawstring that works well to customize the fit. They look like the picture & the description and you can't beat the price.

I love these for around the house. The elastic cross-straps are a bit tight, but it feels better when I use only one of them. Durable and comfortable!
I wear 6.5 street shoe and bought these in a 37 per their recommendation. They were really wide, despite my wide feet! I like my ballet slippers to fit snugly, and even though these are canvas, they do stretch a bit & conform to your foot. I’m returning.
Fit is true to size. Very soft. Form easily to feet. I love the adjustable ties on the front. Purchased two pairs for my daughters and both love them! Nice soft material and very flexible. Good stitching and quality. I would definitely recommend.
The straps are very tight, such that I could not wear the shoes comfortably. They would not stay on if I cut the straps off. Also, these look like house shoes, which is not obvious from the photo, due to the material. They were so house shoe-like that I did not feel comfortable wearing them outside the house. I bought them for a trip where I had to wear something other than walking shoes in a nice restaurant, but they did not work for that purpose at all. I gave them three stars because, despite the tightness and unattractive material - they are inexpensive and would suit someone who wanted house slippers or shoes on a actual gym floor for ballet, but they do not serve other purposes, like most "ballet flats'.
Fit comfortable! I wore this as I praise danced at an outside event.
