Thank God I found these shoes. I had to replace the spikes that he got to start the season after the first meet. The bottom of the other shoes came off mid track meet. I had to use duvt tape to hold them together so he coukd finish the meet. These shoes are well made and have worked out great. My son has been using them for the 110 Hurdles, 300 Hurdles, mile relay, long jump and pole vault with no problems. After 6 track meets and 7 weeks of practice they still look new.

Track Sprinting spike shoes that are worth it
Background -- I used to sprint back in college days and as part of my HIIT training have gone back to sprinting (of course the speed isnt there but its all about the intensity ain't it?)Pros ---- I wear US size 8 with canvas shoes but went with US 8.5 for these spikes. The Toe box is quite narrow (as it is with track spikes) and hence the 1/2 size higher. The ball of the foot area does feel crunched up and my big toe has about 3-4mm of play but it is a trade off as expected.-- The foot plate around the midfoot/front foot area is very sturdy. the spikes holes are embedded properly and there are no quality issues.-- the heel is all hardened rubber with very small spikes but then you rarely will use them so it is all good. A nice Nike logo is carved in the heel as well.-- The design of the shoe looks good (cookies n cream style).-- The upper is a kind of rubbery/plasticky material that feels very sturdy and has a bit of elasticity to it too.Cons ---- It feels as if the upper of the shoe might give away if the shoe is strung on tightly. I havent seen anything as such but time will tell i guess.-- I did not get any spikes/wrench for these shoes once i received them. It seems there was some issue during shipping. Amazon promptly came through and refunded for the spikes purchase.These shoes are on sale at this time and for under 40usd you cant go wrong with these. Definitely Recommended.The attached images will help asses the look/quality of the shoes.
