Style over quality

First off, I should NOT have accepted the recommendation to size up. This was WAYYY too big and floppy. I'm 81/2 and Amazon recommended 10 based on my history and reviews. Mistake!! Additionally, the base of the sandal is too thin and the bottom is smooth. I skidded on a tiled floor the first and only, time I wore them. It wasn't a safe choice for me at all.
