Beautiful genuine leather boots that require intense care
I have narrow size 8 feet and I ordered these in size 8 dark brown leather. They arrived quickly in good condition. Right outside the box, the color and looks were exactly like the photos. However, i noticed vertical scuff marks around the ankle region yet they didn't seem like they were used previously. Since it narrows quite a bit in the toe region, size 8 gave my feet a snug fit, so it may require going at least a half size up. I treat them more like occasion booties instead of everyday footwear as the heels are a little too high for what i am comfortable with. So far I have only worn them outside for one occasion. After that, they looked creased and distressed. I consider maintaining them by waterproofing spray and soft brush. But this getleness seems to be a trade off for wanting to wear real leather. But overall, they look really elegant on feet.

For ladies who no longer wear heels and please pay attention when you’re unpacking the boots!
These are beautiful black suede boots. I am old and retired so my high heel days are sadly gone. And after several years of wearing comfy flat shoes, your feet are NOT happy with you when you try to put heels on again! That has meant, unfortunately, that I’ve been limited to basically no more than 1” heel (even though years ago I regularly wore stilettos!) This has been disappointing because I think, no matter what you are wearing, heels make a woman’s legs look much better than when wearing flats, or near flats. I took a risk ordering these boots, I did only because the Nine West brand has a great reputation for comfortable shoes. And I’m very glad that I did because I can actually walk around in these boots! I’m not saying it was easy peasy at first, just getting used to the angle of the foot, while trying to stand up straight took a little bit of time. But because I could actually walk in these boots and because they were very comfortable it was worth the time! For ladies accustomed to wearing heels, these should be a breeze. It has a square block heel that allows your heel to feel solid on the ground. The black suede is gorgeous and pairs great with a nice skirt & blouse, evening wear and even blue jeans which I am wearing in the photo. They come securely packed in a large Nine West Box. The reason I say to pay attention when you’re unpacking the boots is because they come stuffed with paper packing surrounded by 4 cardboard cut outs inside a plastic bag with a preserver. This packing will keep your boots in perfect shape (see my photo of the packing materials). When I opened the first boot and tried it on, I fortunately had not yet unpacked the second boot because when I tried to re-pack the first boot with the saved packing materials I could not for the life of me figure out how it was all supposed to be packed. Fortunately, I was able to re-create the packing job by slowly unpacking the 2nd pair, while paying close attention, and I was able to repack the boots as they were shipped to me. This was important to me as I won’t be wearing these boots as often as I would if I was still working and I wanted to make sure they would keep their shape while they are being stored. If stored as they come shipped to you, they will definitely keep their shape for years to come! Hope this helps!

SO CUTE but uncomfortable
These boots are SO cute, I love the slight pointed toe and the ankle length. These are such a cute style and would be perfect for fall, however they are uncomfortable to walk in. I’m a true size 9 and these don’t pinch or feel too small, it just hurts the ball of my feet when I walk. It’s too bad because these boots feel high quality, I might try to get an insert and see if they’re more comfortable with that.

Super cute fall boot.
They may be very pricey, but they sure are good quality! I got the dark red and it ended up being more purple than I wanted, still red but more of a maroon than a dark red. It says it's an ankle boot but I would say it's a bit taller than that. Overall, I didn't have any problems with it other than the color. It was easy to zip up and walk in and is true to size.

Slippery on bottom & oversized
These boots are gorgeous! The one problem I have is the sizing. I ordered my typical size & unfortunately found even to be about an entire size too large. The pointed almond toe is nice, the wrapped block heel is decadent.IRL the color I selected, which leans burgundy online, is much more of a cooler tone in person~leaning towards “purpley” (think more black berry shade than cranberry).They appear to be well made and solid. The zippers function well and the height of the shaft makes them a nice style that will easily go well with a variety of looks.They were boxed up so nicely. The logo on the top back middle isn’t too obvious, which I like…(you would have to pay me for me to advertise for you).There is no traction/rubber bottom.Why do company’s do this?! They are boots which usually mean they will be worn outside. It would be nice to have some traction built in.
