Great rain boots but very heavy. Built like a tank.
These are really high quality rain boots that are very durable and fairly comfortable. I say fairly because the fit and everything is nice, the problem is how very heavy they are. That's not really a big deal once they are on your feet, your legs will carry the weight around without you hardly noticing it's there, but you'll get wore out faster.For that reason I would recommend these for anyone that actually requires steel toe, for work etc. In that case, this is one of your best possible options. But for people that want some waders to go fishing with, you might find the extra weight these have wears you out faster and the steel toe doesn't provide enough benefit to justify the effort. So for general outdoors use, you may prefer a lighter option unless you just want a great leg workout, or you're going into water that you know has a lot of sharp pokey items along the ground.Some people get footwear like this for emergency purposes. In that case, I would say these do pretty well regardless of the weight, since it's hard to predict what emergencies will require but sometimes a steel toe can come in very handy in those situations.

UNBELIEVABLY Comfortable, even if 1/2 size oversized
I own other rain boots for hunting and have purchased and returned other similar boots to brick and mortar stores because they just did not feel comfortable. Also, I have lots of experience with steel toe shoes and boots and it is not common to find steel toe footwear that is comfortable above the toes where the steel toe cap ends. Some steel toe footwear begins to hurt in the area where the steel toe cap ends and it is a very real pain.These boots offer none of the problems that I have encountered with some other steel toe footwear or non-steel toe hunting boots. In fact, the design of the footbed in the boot feels like it was designed to provide a slight massage effect and comfortable support, by the use of what feel like little ‘dimples’ throughout the footbed. My size 10 boots feel like 10.5, but my feet don’t wallow around in the boots, as I would expect. The length is good; they’re just a little wide. That’s ok by me because it allows me to wear a nice thick wool sock to keep warm in cold weather,Lastly, these boots provide enormous value. It is hard to believe that such a quality steel toe boot is offered for less than $40.

Durable, but not made for long term wear

The boot material also feels stiff and lacks flexibility, which caused some pinching while walking, especially during longer stretches. For short jobs this is manageable, but for all-day wear it becomes uncomfortable.Durability and ease of cleaning are definite strengths, and these boots feel built to last in harsh conditions. They perform best for short to moderate outdoor tasks where protection matters more than flexibility.Overall, this is a capable and protective boot with trade-offs in comfort. I would personally rate it closer to 3.5 stars, but since Amazon does not allow half stars, I am rounding up to four based on performance, safety features, and waterproof reliability.

Not insulated, spring, summer, & fall ready
I wear a 7.5-8 in womens so I ordered a 6 and they fit very well. My feet and ankles have room to move but not sloppy. It has a nice thick sole with a heal. These boots are not smooth solid they have a lug pattern. The insole is cushy and the shank inside is covered with a light material. The steel toe is light weight so the do not feel heavy to walk in. These are great for barn work so when I accidentally get stepped on it protects my toes. They are not insulated so winter cold weather would not be a good time to wear.
