Solid pair of shoes
I rib my wife about buying shoes online and here I am writing a review for a pair I bought. Oh, the irony.I bought these as an around and outside of the house pair of shoes, not for any work environment. I wanted a pair of easy-on shoes that I could slip on to go to the mailbox or out to the car in the driveway when there was a little snow on the ground and not worry about getting my socks wet like what happens with my regular open heel, vent-holed crocs. These fit that task nicely. As other reviews mention, these seem to run a little large. I usually go with a US men's 10.5 for regular shoes and that's what I bought here. And, true to other reviews these are larger than a regular US men's 10.5 by at least a half size and probably a full size. But, for me, that's just what I wanted. Easy on, even with socks on and room for some air flow and wiggling you feet around. If I were ordering these as a shoe I needed to work in and have fit properly for extended wearing I would definitely order smaller that you usually get unless you want then slightly floppy like me.Quality-wise, at least initially... not bad at all. Firm rubber shoes with a fabric insole. Contours fine, albeit maybe a little on the flatter side but still a little support at least. They are a tad heavier than I thought they would be. But that's compared to the lighter weight, airy rubber of Cros brand shoes. The rubber in these is definately stouter than Crocs brand rubber but not limitingly so.The dimensions and shape of the openening seem properly fitted for the rest of the shoe. The slightly back-flared contour of the heel slide-in is nice and works well to keep the heel wall from being smooshed when you slide your foot in.Overall, I'm happy with the purchase and give them a thumbs up review.
