Oil and slip resistant mid boots.

The item came as described. The sizes seem to be accurate. Comfortable and comparable to wide options. There is a difference between slip resistance, oil resistant. Oil resistant in most cases refers to the uppers. This boot lacks breathability or mesh integration, but that's also going to protect better from oil spills in automotive or kitchen applications. Fairly comfortable for all day wear, but you may end up getting an insert for a better personalized and ergonomic fit. These may not be for heavy duty use, but should work just fine for the average person and the price just can't be beat.

Decent shoe with not the best insoles

I normally wear size 11 or 11W in men's shoes and I ordered size 11 and the did fit okay but are slightly smaller than average so I would say it runs maybe 1/4 size small so if you are between sizes or have very wide feet you will want to order a half size larger.My first impression of the shoes is that they are very light. In fact with the good ankle support and light weight you could probably wear them as basketball shoes but the tread of the shoe isn't designed for that as well as the shoes don't breathe well so you feet would likely sweat a lot.My main complaint about these shoes is it has a cheap insole and neither the shoe nor insole provides much support so if you have feet pain from over-pronating or under-pronating than these shoes will not help with that. The stock insoles aren't horrible as there are much worse ones out there but they are below average. I added cheap insoles from a Chinese website under the stock insoles and the support became okay where it didn't hurt my feet to stand for a period of time.The tread of the insoles has a lot of traction on a flat floor so there are designed to be used in a greasy restaurant or similar situation to prevent you from slipping so its non-slip feature is very good. They seem to work well as water resistant/water-proof shoes.One of the most remarkable things about the shoes is its ankle support which is good and bad. It is good in that it should prevent you from rolling your ankle as it tightly fits around the ankle but it is bad in that it is not easy to put the shoes on and off as I need to loosen to shoe laces to put them on each time but when I lace them up they are very supportive in the ankle.The shoes seem well made and I think they should last a while as I don't foresee any issues with quality control. If you tend to drag your feet or under-pronate the tread of the shoes might wear out somewhat fast but that is about the worst thing I can say concerning the quality.The shoes are very comfortable to wear and do have extra room in the toes on the sides so it doesn't push your toes together but it is a bit small in length and it is average width meaning it might be tight for those with wide feet but I wouldn't describe the shoe as narrow either.If you don't have foot pain then these are excellent shoes. If you do have foot pain then you would need to get more supportive insoles to wear these shoes. The price of the shoes is pretty middle-of-the-road meaning they cost more than crappy budget shoes but less than nicer expensive shoes. For those who need durable work shoes that are slip and oil resistant and don't have foot pain I can recommend these shoes.

Good black work shoes

These are a solid pair of work shoes. I work in a kitchen and there is often debris on the floor and occasionally water or oil. These boots have a nice non-slip sole that allow me to tackle any problem the kitchen can throw at me.The black color is good because we're supposed to wear black shoes. They came true to size and fit my foot nicely. They strike a good balance between between being comfortable while still providing sufficient support for my needs.Finally they are a pretty good deal for the money. They're a good solid pair of shoes, try them out.

The perfect work shoes for my hubby!

I got these boots for my husband who is a Caribbean chef and sometimes has spills that can cause him to slip and fall if he is not careful. He commented that they are comfortable and well made and they fit him well. They are lightweight, waterproof, and durable. The only change he made was adding a cushioned insole since he has to stand for hours and he needed something more comfortable for him.
