We bought these for our son who was in boy scouts. His first camping trip involved hiking and biking and he used these boots for all of it. He said they were comfortable and his feet didn't hurt after a long day. They appear to be good quality with great support!
Bought 2 pairs of these (one size 6 and one 8) for my daughters for our vacation in the national parks. We walked on paved trails as well as very dirt and rocky trails. The girls walked very well!! Their ankles were very well supported.No problem with the shoes ripping off in the toe area as other reviews mentioned.These are lightweight so all the better for tiny legs. They are flexible yet sturdy enough.Be aware, they are not waterproof at all: one foot in a puddle showed that! But they dry fast.Will surely recommend to friends and buy again should we do another hiking trip!
We’ve bought this brand before and it was decent quality. These are not. The loops that hold the laces are plastic. Our son wore them for one hike, when we went to put them on to go hiking this weekend one of the loops that hold the laces in place broke. Super disappointed. I would keep looking for something that has actual holes for the laces to thread through or metal loops.
This is a very handsome hiker boot. My grandson really likes it and it looks very sturdy. The price was right, the only thing I would point out is that it runs about a size small.
Ok so my son doesn’t walk yet but he’s a hefty 11month old and fits into a size 6. These boots are SUPER cute! They look like miniatures of his dads hiking shoes! We’re hoping these will be his “first step shoes”My only complaint is that they’re heavy for beginners, I don’t think I’d suggest them as a first walkers shoe, but they are sturdy, and clearly waterproof (my sons feet are always sweaty when they come off, which is a good sign that no water in and not water out) :)
My just turned 5yr old daughter loves them. Fits well with long socks. Took her out on a rough rocky trail and she did great in them. She had no complaints while hiking. Really like how it supports her ankles and kept the cactus needles away. Took them off her after 2hour hike and her feet looked great with no blisters or needles. She wants to go hiking again.
They look like a nice sturdy boot. However, product description is not as advertised. The pictures show that they Velcro, which is what I needed. When we received them there was no Velcro strap. They were entirely lace ties. Having to send them back.
