Great for our toddler helps with ankle support when running over rocks. Perfect buy to be able to fit either girl or boy. We will be passing them down from our girl to our boy. Oh and they are easy to get on and off 👍
I bought this in little kids size 8 for my 3 year old daughter. She started hiking on her own this last year as I now have to carry her 1 year old sister. She has hiked up to 4 miles with 600+ feet of elevation gain in them. These are great shoes. She wears good wool socks (smartwool is awesome!) with them and hasn’t ever complained of her feet hurting. I don’t think they are completely waterproof as her socks were a little wet on our last hike after stomping through some steams but I can’t be sure that wasn’t also from “swishing” the boots off at the end of the hike in the river after having to Ford a mudslide. The one complaint I have is the ankle strap which is not long/strong enough. It comes undone regularly and my daughter does not have large legs. I’ve been thinking about doing what another reviewer did and cutting off the strap to replace with laces.Overall a great hiking shoe and I will probably be buying again soon in a larger size when my daughter outgrows these ones.
These Childrens boots seem to be of high quality. The rubber sole is very durable and has good traction while hiking. This is my son’s first pair of hiking boots and he is excited about how comfortable they are. He is so pleased that they have now become his daily wear shoes.
These are comfortable hiking boots (no complaints from the kids) and are holding up well after a few hikes. They are true to size and cushy.
Bought these for my 12 year old son and he loved them. Went on a 2 hour hike and never complained about his feet. Didn’t make his feet sweat and he jumped in puddles and feet didn’t even get wet.
I bought these last minute for a cubscout camping trip for my son and they were perfect! They fit great. My son said they were comfortable and they kept his feet dry during the rainstorm we had to deal with that weekend. He was able to go on a 3mile hike with no complaints. I would definitely reccomend.
If you never get rid of a pair of jeans that don’t have holes in the knees, these are the shoes you’re looking for.If you have to replace your kids school shoes before you break for turkey, these are the shoes you’re looking for.If you want a less expensive (buy high quality) version of the expensive ones that rhyme with Sherrell, these are an excellent option.My nine year old son is 95 percentile for height and weight. At only nine, he is bigger than most 11 year olds. But he plays like a little kid and is very hard on his shoes. I was replacing them every 2-3 weeks cause they were really falling apart. I also ordered some elastic “no-tie” laces to replace the laces with. Works beautifully.
