Excellent fit - sturdy boot for small feet
I'm not a kid, but as a woman with small, wide feet, these boots are perfect! I bought my second pair of these Northside boots after putting hundreds of miles and 2 years of daily wear on my first pair. They are mostly water-proof out of the box, though I put a coat of spray-on water-proofing on them for wearing in winter snow. These boots are well-made with good support at the ankle (tops come to ankle-bone). Very Happy with these boots!

Good sturdy boots
My son tried them on and was very happy with them says they were really supportive and comfortable. Then he decided he didn't like how the shape is in front (he's very picky) so they're just sitting on the shelf unfortunately. Haven't tested the waterproof feature

Might be small
Got these cause, you know, kids grow like crazy. So why spend over 100 when you gotta change it again a few months down the road. Had 12yo try it out. Immediately said it was small and very tight. Last boots were size 6, this one was a 7. Side by side they looked the same in terms of length and width.
