Great quality for great price and excellent comfort

I am new to colder weather hiking and dealing with rain and snow on the trails. I needed a boot that would keep my feet dry and that also provides arch support. After reading many reviews of many different products, I purchased these. Keeping in mind that I might need to double layer socks, I watched for that type of information in my reviews. I typically wear a size 8. I bought an 8. I have worn these boots for over 25 miles of walking now, both in rain and snow, and have also trekked through mud. My latest adventure I camped in 0-degree weather. I wore nylons, a boot sock, followed by a wool sock with no problem. My feet stayed dry throughout. My only issue was my toes got cold. I was able to put a pack of hot hands in each boot under my toes - even with the three layers of socks - and they worked great. Prior to that, I did a 10-mile hike (left at 8, was done by noon, so 10 miles consistently moving) and I had no arch support or shin issues. My boots are the purple/gray color and suit me well. They feel great on my feet and provide excellent arch support. They are easy to tie, getting them on and off with no issues. Their expandability by loosening the laces made it great for the multi layers on my feet. I trekked up a 50-degree hill covered in snow and had no problems with traction. I am not being paid for this review. I chose to write it after wearing the boots for 3 camps outs and a 10-mile hike. At no time did I get any blisters (but I have learned from past experience what I need to do to protect my feet from blisters). I am greatly impressed and would definitely recommend them to others and purchase them again.

Kept my feet dry in Alaska

I bought these in 5.5W, Dark Grey, and they fit true to size (5.5 is my regular shoe size).I purchased them for a trip to Ketchikan, Alaska, where I needed something waterproof for multiple fishing excursions. Over three fishing days, I wore them 6-9 hours each day, standing and walking the majority of the time. My feet stayed comfortable and well-cushioned, with no pain at the end of the day.The waterproofing is excellent. Even when Ketchikan received 7 inches of rain, my feet stayed completely dry whether walking through puddles or on muddy trails. The traction was another pleasant surprise; I felt pretty secure on slippery rocks/ground.So far, they’ve held up beautifully, and I plan to keep using them for future fishing trips, rainy days, and possibly even snow trips. At this price point, the quality is hard to beat.

Better looking in person

These boots are definitely cute. I’ve already received 2 compliments and have only worn them twice. In my opinion, they look better in real life vs pictures. I wear a women’s 9.5 narrow and found the size to fit well when wearing regular socks. However if you plan on wearing thick socks then I would suggest going up a size. In general, these are comfortable enough but after walking (on pavement) for a mile and a half, they got a little uncomfortable around my toes. They do seem to be waterproof but they were only exposed to a little bit of non-sticking snow. Overall I think they are great boots and I really like them.

Good solid boot.

I was hesitant to purchase these since I'm unfamiliar with this brand , but they're surprising sturdy. I wear a standard 7 regular across various brands (Salomon, Keen, Asolo, Merrell, Adidas, etc.) and these were true to size, for me. I will caution that if you don't like a stiffer boot, you may need time to adjust. I happen to like sturdiness from my boots so these are perfect for me. They move with my feet well and I don't feel the gravel, rock, roots underfoot, poking through the outter soles. They're not too hot, although I do live in a cold/wet environment. They keep the water out well and the heel strike feels solid with a fluid movement through the gait. No pinching, no rubbing, no chafing. The boot hugs my feet and I feel them against the side of my sole. A good solid boot. I'd buy again.Update: Today is my second day wearing these and I've had them on for over 15 consecutive hours. Truly comfortable and no joke, did not want to take them off. I'll hopefully remember to come back and give a 3, 6, 9 & 12 month updates.

Great value, well made

Great value. This is my second pair, and I’ve been very happy with them. I walk my dog 3–4 miles every day in the woods, and my feet are always warm and comfortable. They lasted about 10 months with very heavy use. The shoes and laces were still in excellent condition—I’m a heavy walker, so the tread was worn down, but I must have put close to 800 miles on them. I probably could have gotten a few more months out of the old pair, but with all the snow and ice this winter, I wanted fresh treads. These were on sale, so it was an easy decision.

Really comfortable and warm

Wow...I was surprised that anything this reasonably priced could actually be this comfortable! I just got them today. Initially for 5 minutes it feels strange because of so much support but quickly these became like walking on air. Perfect for winter and rain and also cute. They did run a bit large on me but I put a light insole in and wore thicker socks. Probably could have taken a size 6 but then no room for extra warm socks. The 6.5 is good with insole and socks. They did feel comfortable without added insoles but I needed them to be a tighter fit. I have been so dissapointed sending shoes back but THESE are awesome. I did not want to take them off because it was less painful to walk around WITH them on as they provide stability and cushioning. You can't go wrong with these for a winter walking boot.

Bike Trail Walks

Tested them out today on a flat, but snow covered walking trail. They were light weight, comfortable right out of the box, and kept my feet dry. They provided nice ankle stability. However, their traction was not great, had several minor slips. Did the same trail yesterday in my old worn out Columbia boots, had no traction issues. Idk if it was different tread pattern, depth, or materials but there was definitely a difference. These shoes will likely be ok for well maintained trail hikes, but I will definitely not be wearing them on any winter Appalachian trail hikes.
