Bad sizing

I am not sure if the quality is good or not because my son didn't get to wear them. They were a whole size bigger than his usual size! I didn't see that in the other reviews. He's always 11 in his shoes, but these were huge. He'd definitely need a size 10. They are cute looking though.

Great fit, feels good and lightweight wearing, very breathable

I wanted to get leather boots to replace some synthetic Dockers boots I have (though they were great until the material started to flake off--with synthetic stuff, you can't buff that away and the white layer below shows). First of all, I can't believe how light these are. When I picked up the package, I couldn't believe there were boots inside. I like the fact that it's leather in the front, lower side, and back; but there's a breathable (almost like a sneaker type) of material on the mid-upper sides. This allows for good ventaliation. I wore them all day yesterday at work (office job) and had no problems breaking in. I like the outer parts on top for lacing; this makes it easier to open the boot and put my foot into it, but easy to tighten up and lace. As close to a perfect boot that I think I can find, for the money. I got the charcoal, and my really dark brown belt seems to match with it (though I think a black belt would be good, too). I'll probably get the brown in the moc-toe version and maybe the black in these plain toe versions. Highly recommend.
