So Far, So Good
I've had this about a month, so it's hard to say how durable it is. So far, though, things are looking fine.As to the fit: once my feet are in the shoes, it is clear that the shoes are the right size. No pinching, no slipping about in empty space: just a good exact fit. 12M worked for Red Box, and it works for these too!They are still a bit hard to get on; I could use a shoehorn, I suppose, if I could find one. This is mostly because they come up higher on the heel than the shoes they are replacing did. The change in style was intentional. This has gotten easier over the last month, and may eventually improve further.OK, it's been a year: these shoes have proved themselves well worth the price, although I have decided to replace them because the sole is beginning to wear out. They never quite got loose enough to put on without some effort.

Nunn Bush hit a home run with this shoe!
Never could get Nunn Bush in anything but standard. This shoe purchased in XW. It is one of the lightest, most comfortable leather shoes I ever bought. From the moment taken out of the box fit & felt perfect! No breaking in needed. Total comfort. Can understand why ratings at 5 star, and people bought a second pair. Great looking ankle high. Size matters - nice boots
I have wide feet, EE width to be exact. Shoe companies often say that their "wide" size will fit. I am often disappointed to find that the "W" in the description is more of a DD than an EE. So I tend to order thhe next size up. This time I ordered according to the size chart. Nunn-Bush is true to the size chart. These boots fit great! I would be able to wear heavier socks in cold weather and still be comfortable. the construction of the boot is good quality. I anticipate it will wear well for a long time.

Good value for money.
Comfortable low cost chukka boot, partly due to the soft sole. The sole will wear fast. The picture shows the side of the sole is black, in reality the side of the sole is pale gray.

Nice shoe… but
This is a nice shoe, very comfortable and light. They actually help me with my knee pain. My issue is that I bought these in 2020 for $27 here on Amazon. Why are they so expensive now? I like them a lot but I’m sure I can find other options just as good for probably half the price.

Comfortable but only lasted 4 months.
For first three months I loved these boots very light and comfortable. I am a teacher and on feet all day. Last month the stitching tore out of the heels on both boots. I have owned Nunn Bush shoes in the past and have enjoyed the quality and comfort of the brand. I have emailed Nunn Bush hopefully they will respond. Will update review based on response.

Wonderful: comfortable and lightweight
These are so comfortable and light that I immediately bought two more pairs. Admittedly my size was at a great, low price at that time, but had they been more I might well have ordered perhaps one more pair at least.It is actually hard to imagine a better shoe: they feel like the ankle boots they are, but are pretty much as comfortable as a good slipper. Highly recommended.
