Love these boots, this is my 3rd year in a row buying these for my 4 y/o twins. And their little brother fitting right into their old boots. Highly recommend for ease of getting on with loops, durability, wear in snow and rain waterproof, thick rubber but not heavy in weight(3 boys and rough with play, these stand up to the test), fit true to size.

Update: since they broke down within the 6 month warranty the company is replacing them! They were quick to respond and easy to work with.My 2.5 year old loves these boots and wears them all the time and everywhere. That being said they are falling apart less than 6 months after we bought them. The seam around the toe started separating about a month ago and they're cracking badly around the ankles now and the soles are crumpling up so it makez them uncomfortable. They're great while they last, nice and flexible, easy for him to put on by himself, but what a bummer they don't last a little better.
Outstanding fits perfectly
I bought these for my 23 month old son in preparation for upcoming mud season in Vermont. He loves his “astronaut boots” and wears them all around the house, and really hates that we have to wear his Sorel snow boots outside since it’s still in the 30s and winter storms aren’t done yet!I am an ECE at a nature-based school, so I have pretty strong opinions about gear. Oaki is a brand my work kids have worn a lot and the boots seem decent in general. I love that these ones are flashy and cost-effective! Also huge plus to have handles for kids to pull them on independently and just enough of an arch for stirrups on rain pants (a must for puddle jumping and mud splashing!). I was, however, a little surprised when I pulled these out of the bag and felt how stiff the rubber was. It was also squished flat along the leg part, which makes it really hard for my little guy to get his feet in, leading to frustration and then catastrophic tantrums because…toddlers. I even tried to stuff round plastic bottles in the tops for a couple days to reshape them, but no dice. The design is adorable, but a little wonky where the black rubber is overlaid on the boot. I’m interested to see how it will hold up with everyday use (as in every single day, multiple times a day). Hopefully the rubber softens with use!
