BUYER BE AWARE — Choose the Right Color!
I love these boots. My current pair is the Coyote color, and they’ve been fantastic — lightweight, breathable, and extremely comfortable, even after long hours on my feet. They provide excellent ankle support without feeling bulky or heavy. They’ve also held up really well over time.With upcoming regulation changes, I ordered a black pair too. Important note: If you're trying to get the LT Assault 2s in black, make sure you select Blackout, not just Black. When I chose “Black,” I accidentally received the LT Assault Boot Leather version instead.Overall, the LT Assault 2s are a great choice — just double-check the color selection before you order!

Good boots

Different boot than I expected.
A different boot came in, compared to the photo. Same color, but slight differences (toe and back were a smooth leather, like the Oakley Black SI Light Patrol Boot). This would've been a fine boot to wear, just not the one I was expecting when I looked at the photo.

Overpriced
It is light and has a decent fit. Hard to put a foot in and get it out. Laces too long and putting the boots on and taking off and lacing is somewhat difficult. Feels like there is not enough arch support - different from other boots and sneakers. Holds well in the light rain (wax applied on leather upper). A little hot. Amazon charges too much. At some point it was discounted 60%! and $70-90 is the right value NOT $170.

Perfect Fit
This is my second pair of Oakley's and they do the job. They look good and are lighter than previous boots I have worn. They do hurt the feet in the break in process because they are real stiff, but once broken in, they are comfortable. I recommend you get gel inserts after about 8 months, depending how often you are on your feet. Overall they are good quality and comfortable.
