Hopefully will be able to break in--and be able to wear thick socks while wearing the boots--by the time these will become my daily wear boots. saved $100 or more getting these instead of muck boots brand. we shall see if it was worth it, and will update my review in a few months.update 11/9/25: have now worn these boots at work a couple of days and while puttering in the garden today. wore thick carhartt boots socks, and had to put on regular shoes by the time the outside air temp got to 60*. they are VERY warm.

quality, traction, insulation

I haven't put them to the test as far as wear and tear, but in person they look just like the photo. Bought them for the price and wet spring. All my mucks Crack at the top around my toes and crack where rubber meets cloth. Will see, but worth the price.I wear women's 9.5 usually. Bought a 9 and it's even slightly large with medium weight socks, but room for wool socks.

Poor quality

These boots split in the back and my little brother only had them one day! Super crappy quality. Not pleased at all. $50 boots but then again I guess you get what you pay for.
