I have bought and many pairs of Oboz boots over several years and they are the only hiking boots that I buy. They are great quality, wear very well, are comfortable, well-constructed, and these live up to the waterproof label. They are also one of the more affordable boots for those of us with narrow feet.Break-in is quick and painless (I got mine the day before leaving for 14 days in Europe and had no problems breaking them in on the fly). Function, form, fit, is good. A tad bit smaller as I do notice my feet sometimes go a bit numb on long days. I have wide feet and this brand has had the best comfort. However, the durability is okay. At work our shoes are in constant contact with ribbed, slightly rough edged metal floor (ups trucks). Constantly I don’t lift my feet high enough and the toe area contacts the floor where the sole joins the shoe. This is the area that has very low durability. It wears out about the same rate as $30-50 shoes I’ve tried at work. So for $180, I wish it can handle the abuse a bit better. Only Keen composite toe wide shoes have handled work very well, but these shoes sure are more comfortable. Perhaps better for hiking and outdoor usage. If the shoes were cheaper, I would rate it 5 stars

Worth it
My last set of Oboz is already falling apart, after only 17 years. I was thrilled to see they are still making the same model. Seems to be exactly the same except for minor cosmetic changes. Still breaking them in, but they seem like the same quality.

I've ordered Oboz before. I love these boots, well made and fit great. They arrived on time. Very comfortable. I ordered a mens boot. Men's boots run a little bit wider then womens so make them really comfortable with hiking socks.

These are comfortable but they were a tiny bit big and the front of the boot bends up. You can see it in the pic. So you arent walking flat you are rolling with every step. And they squeak when u walk. Maybe shoulda gave it 1 star. But they are comfy

Well... these run really narrow. I was looking for a hiking boot that didnt have a wide toe box n found one. My one MAJOR complaint is the top of the toe is really sunk in n so its real tight on my toes. Im thinking about putting something in there to stretch it. N the material is very very stiff. On a comfort level? Well for the price i paid they should be way more comfortable n not so rigid. Idk how many stars to give. They arent horrible just horrible for the price. And the color is kinda a dull gray almost a dirty gray. They coulda spiced it up a little. I was in a bind n had ordered so many hiking boots that didnt fit and the ones i had wear about to fall off lol id give these 6 out of 10. Not horrible but not super comfortable
