Love these boots so much - ordering a 3rd pair for spare

I love these boots so much I have two pairs. I am tempted to buy a 3rd because I'm always worried they'll disappear. I wear the 7W. They do not need a break-in period - they are perfect right out of the box. They fit me feet like a very comfortable glove. They are lightweight and do not feel clunky. I've chatted with a few others on the trail that I noticed wearing the same boots and those ladies felt the same way. My only wish about them is - I wish the shoestrings were longer. The type of string it is needs to be double knotted otherwise the slip and un-do themselves to some degree. But all is well. They work just fine. And I feel like my ankles have good support and the bottoms of the boots offer great traction.

Best hiking boots EVER!

From the second I lifted the paper in the box, I was in love. Got hiking socks also so I put socks and boots on.Oh man, I have never worn a pair of boots this comfortable and cute at the same time. Someone wrote a review on a cheaper pair and mentioned that the arch support was just as bad as Nike's running shoes. Those have always given me problems, so I thought I would try these. I always add a pair of custom orthodontics to any pair I buy. NO NEED, they have the perfect arch support and are ever so comfortable. Born in Denmark, I have had my fair share of boots, but this passes anything I have ever tried. The sapphire color is so right for these boots. With money I would by all colors. They are worth every dollar you spend on these boots and your feet, spine and posture in general will thank you. Go for it - you will love them. Now go hiking somewhere absolutely beautiful.

Practical AND cute

I usually have a hard time finding comfortable shoes so was concerned about ordering them online. I ordered 1/2 size up to give plenty of toe room and they fit great and are comfortable! The support and cushioning are great. I have walked through wet snow and they are completely waterproof and warm enough but not hot. I was able to hike in them without breaking them in. I’m a huge fan. They also are feminine, which I like. And, the shoelaces stay tied! I am seriously so happy with this purchase!

Tight in the ankles, but stretching (the shoes) will help

I usually have no issues wearing shoes out-of-the-box. In fact, I have a pair of Oboz hiking shoes (low cut) that are extremely comfortable, which is why I wanted to find a pair of Oboz hiking boots that provide more support around the ankles. When I first tried them on, these shoes felt comfortable and not too restricting on my feet.My mistake was not test driving these out on a short walk. I wore these for the first time on a 5-mile, hilly hike. Oh boy, how badly my ankles hurt afterwards! The shoes definitely provide ankle support, but so much that you feel like they're holding onto your ankles for dear life instead of "being there to help" (and I think my ankles are normal size -- have never needed a wide shoe or had any issues with boots or other hiking shoes). After a couple more hikes with these shoes, I was beginning to despair that I hadn't brought a backup pair.In the off-chance that it would help, I decided to stretch out the tops of the boots around the ankle area to see if that would make them more comfortable. I spent about 5-10 minutes using my hands to manipulate/stretch/fold the stiff top of the shoe to try to soften it. Then, I took the boots on a 10-mile hike. So much more comfortable! Luckily, this worked or I would have been trying to figure out how to salvage a dirty pair of expensive hiking boots I only wore a few times.Other than the ankle tightness, I had no issues with comfort and they definitely were waterproof. I hope these end up feeling as comfortable as my other pair of Oboz!

My 2nd Pair Because I Love Them So Much

I absolutely love these hiking boots. This my second pair because I love them so much. If I could give ten stars I would! They are well made: true to size, mostly waterproof (I never submerged my foot so not sure how well), sturdy, durable, and have amazing arch and ankle support. I have super high arches (as you can tell by lack of wear in the arch area, see pic) and walking, hiking, and even running on all terrain with these feels like such a relief on my feet.I bought these again after I wore out my first pair with near daily wear (most days of most weeks), all year round for almost 3 years. Even after wearing them so much for so long, they only had minor stitches coming out at the seams in the front where my toes bend, and the soles are fairly worn down but still good enough (see pix). This time I bought two pairs because I love them so much, and they look like they're going to be discontinued as a style option. I wanted to have another pair lined up for when I wear these ones out. I'm still waiting for the 2nd pair to come in, but this pair came in a couple days; so I don't think it will be a long wait.I think my first pair is definitely on their last stretch of use, but I think I can still get another 6 months to a year out of them just kicking around and/or as backup boots to wear for extra dirty use.Definitely worth the money spent!

Got blisters on second wear

So I have mixed thoughts. I wore these boots on more flat trails the first time and had no issues. Only walked about 2 miles and they felt comfortable and they were fine. Well I wore them today on more varied trails and I started getting a blister on the back of my right heel and had to turn around. On the way back I had started to get a blister on my right pinky toe. So idk if the boots I got are defective or what because my left foot was fine and the boot was very comfortable for a 4 mile hike. Meanwhile my right foot is hurting in 2 places now and that kinda stinks.

My favorite hiking boots.

These are my favorite hiking boots. I love how they fit on me; it feels secure and covers my ankles. I also love the colors as they are subtle and not obnoxious (especially for women's boots). This is my third pair. I hike a lot, and in all different terrains/conditions, so it's normal wear and tear given the circumstances.
