I have had 3 pairs of Oboz. This style is by far my favorite! Took them on a 5 week hiking trip with my Oboz Sawtooth Waterproof. Only used the Sawtooth for one hike and could have used the Katabatic instead. Hiked in them on many different terrains. Still cushy after 250+ miles. Hoping they last a while longer but will definitely get them again. And a the Gortex version to have a waterproof option.
The grip on the sole is amazing. Unfortunately these seemed to narrow for my feet and rubbed on the inside left ankle. Right one didn’t rub. Cute design but just didn’t fit me right. I wear a size 9 typically but 9.5 in hiking/running shoes.
Solid traction and stability, supportive base.
This should a zero star rating. Wore these for only two weeks hiking. Already have a tear. But most importantly they have zero traction in mud or wet surfaces and become very slippery. Useless for trail hiking.
