Quality, Comfort, Warmth and inserts not needed
Comfortable shoe right out of the box. I have high arches, typically need inserts. I dont need inserts with Oboz shoes. This color is more taupe which I prefer than gray. The toe box provides enough room to wiggle my toes, again I prefer it that way. They are warmer than my Oboz Bozeman Low Leathers. Wearing the Ousel Low B-day in 20 degree outdoor weather shopping kept my feet warm. My feet dont sweat alot in these shoes which I attribute to leather construction and footbed. Overall VERY comfortable and WARM after wearing all day for work, all week. The only thing I dont love is the toe shape. Its very tennis shoe. I prefer the rounded toe of my Bozeman Low Leather but still, the fit, comfort and warmth makes up for it. Highly recommend.

Comfortable with Great Support!
What a find! I have been searching for comfortable support shoes for years! Shoe design seems to have changed in the last 10 years...they are getting flat insoles and less toe room width, height, and length and less cushion and support and are usually flimsy mesh that rips easily. These shoes defy it all! They have tons of toe room and are well cushioned around the tongue and ankle area. They are shaped straight at the toe instead of cutting in to contribute to ingrown toenails. I have high arches and ended up replacing the smaller arch insole that is there with a larger one--the high arch "Ifitna" with the large "pedag Step" insert underneath for extra support. I had to order a wide to accomodate my width and they feel amazing--and they don't slip in the heel like some brands. My daughter who has very narrow feet ordered the regular width in the same style and she loves them. Both of us tried all the major brands even orthopedic shoes and went to many different stores, finding nothing comfortable and supportive enough. Oboz seem to have the quality that has been lost in most brands--my husband and boys bought the Oboz brand too after seeing this quality. These are leather and waterproof so we are thrilled to use them hiking in rough terrain as well. Can't say enough great things about these shoes!!! Oboz are our new family brand--Totally recommend!!

Comfortable Stylish Support
This is pair #3. The first 2 were the lowe cut which I liked but they weren't right for meBecause ofvthecstiffer support, the othe Oboz Ordels hurt my feet. NutvI was determined because I need shoescto get me through several days of walking through Italy and the Greek Isles on possibly wet cobblestones or wet marble streets. I'm 84 and a possible fall isn't on the itinerary. I need the traction soles. So I tried this model. I'm not fond of the higher cost, but I was able to get a wide width in these. They were comfortable from.the moment I put them on with medium weight socks. They are good looking, roomy enough for my toes, and I think they'll get me through those 10 hr days on the road.

Amazing hiking shoes
Fit true to size. Tip: loosen ties as I had to loosen. Headed to a National Park and locally hard to find a hiking shoe. Waterproof! At 64 supports hip and knees well. Good with or without socks! Thank you

Good but not great
I love the look of these shoes. They are durable and comfortable. The only issue I had is they were heavy and after a while they felt tight on my foot. Not sure I would wear them for an all-day hike.

Great shoe
This is my 4th or 5th pair of Oboze hikers. Oboze, absolutely make the perfect shoe. I have lots of foot problems. I have medically prescribed molded shoe inserts. These shoes are the only shoes I have walked out of the store, gone straight to the trails hiked and not gotten extremely sore feet, or blisters. (without my added inserts) They are so comfortable its like they are made exactly for me. I have snow boots, 2 different hiking boots, and 2 trail shoes. I hike mountains about 12 to 18 miles a week in all kinds of weather. I have to admit as I wear them out I do add my inserts but it's nice not to have to buy shoes with the added stress of making the inserts a priority for the first several months. Needless to say I am a fan for life.
