Okabashi will forever be my go to flip flops!! I had a pair for nearly 10 years and when they finally broke last week I had to find new ones. Thankfully they have a shop here on Amazon and when I found this pair I was pumped to know my feet would be happy again. They’re super comfortable and I know that they will last me a long time as Okabashi relies on the great quality of their products. Thank you Okabashi!!
These are very comfortable and yet seem to be very tough. The foot side is soft and the bottom is flexible, but after two months of wear, there is almost no signs of wear on the bottom.Great price versus the other guys and they fit me perfectly (size 13). Look great too!
Love these flips!! They fit me perfectly, don't slip like my old ones did, and are very comfortable.
I wear a size 10 shoe and I thankfully ordered a size 11 on these, which fits just about right. They are a heavier denser rubber material (kind of has a rubber tire consistency) so I think they will hold up well, but only time will tell. If I get 1 year out of a $20 pair of flip flops that will be a success. Compared to cheaper made options at Walmart for the same prices. These seem like a good deal for a better quality shoe and my money gets to stay with a local manufacturer. Assuming these last as expected I will be buying again at this price.
There is a lot to like about these flip flops, they are made in the USA with sustainable materials and they have very comfortable arch support that most flip flops do not. But the part that goes between your toes is fairly uncomfortable and they strap over your foot needs 5 minutes to stretch or it's a bit tight. I even got a size up after being unable to wear the proper size for my feet and, based on my experience, I could use one more size up.
I'm a 9.5 and ordered the 10 per sizing chart and fits perfect. My first reaction was that they were a little heavier than my previous flip-flops. Not a big deal but reflecting on my first reaction. They seem very sturdy and are comfortable. I'm interested to see how the material lasts long-term as this is my first sustainable product like this. So far, so good! A bonus...they are made in America.
First pair of them I bought used at the thrift shop. Someone stole them when I left at walkway on the beach. So purchased this second pair new. Very comfortable fit, attractive, durable and quick drying. Good value on price compared to the other well-known pricey "surf shop" brands. Order 1/2" larger size for best fit. Only improvement I'd like would be better padding in heel area to reduce impact on foot bottom when walking on hard, rocky ground.
