Just got my second pair of old friend slippers about a week ago. The other ones shown in the photo are probably about 5 years old. Well worth the extra money to get genuine sheepskin. The slippers last many years and they stay warm, comfortable, and the wool is great for not getting stinky and it’s able to absorb perspiration. I ordered a size 13 for the second time, regular width. I wear a 12 1/2 or 13 in tennis shoesThey are plenty wide and will stretch out. unless you have a super wide foot get the regular fit. The insole does come out and can be washed or cleaned, though I did this only once with my first pair. Cons: nothing really comes to mind, would not purchase as a Support slipper. No arch support. That has zero impact on my decision to buy a slipper to wear around the house or walk around outside.

Best that I have found.
I have a 6E width. These come in 5E. I have not found another slipper as comfortable. I have had at least six pairs of these. They last about a year for me as I wear them alot. In fairness, the uppers are stretched by my wife feet and break down over time. I always wear the rubber bottoms out before discarding them.I keep buying them because, they provide relief compared to other options.

My Best Slippers Ever !
At age 70, that is saying a lot. I abused my other two pair of slippers by wearing them outside the house too. They still lasted a very long time, probably 1 year each. My first two pair were the soft leather soles. I thought it was the only way to get real comfort. Boy, was I wrong. I decided to try rubber soles this time. OMG. They offer more support, will last longer since I wear them outside, and are every bit as comfortable as the slippers with the soft leather soles. The rubber sole is very soft and flexible. As I said with my other slippers, these slippers may feel snug at first, but buy your usual size. The leather draw strings are easily loosened and tied again for more room. After wearing them a day or two, they begin to relax. Perfect fit, total comfort, very attractive, and durable soles. These are the best!

REAL WOOL SHEEPSKIN, the real deal.
I wore out my first pair of these (women’s). I thought I would try a pair of Ugg moccasins next but they are very expensive and the market is littered with inferior knock-offs. So I searched around for another pair of this brand, Old Friend. I found a discounted new pair of men’s, found them to be the equivalent of the women’s size and took a chance and they fit great!! Same quality! I raise sheep and these are the real deal; real wool on hide as it was on the sheep. I wouldn’t waste my money on any other brands.
