Finally, a smart slipper!
I love the comfort of sheepskin slippers, but have always had two problems: my feet get sore from the lack of arch support, and the idea of wearing anything non-washable repeatedly without socks kinda squigs me out.Then along came these Old Friend Juliet slippers. Actually, along came my sister's Old Friend Juliet slippers. My mom saw me coveting them and asked if I wanted some for my birthday. Thanks, Mom!They are well constructed, oh-so-comfy, and have a removable, WASHABLE insole. Hurray!The insole itself actually offers a little support due to its shape, but I can also slip an insert under it for added support. What a difference it makes for my poor flat feet! And being able to wash the insole makes me wonder how I ever wore my old sheepskin slippers for so long.These do run a little small, so you might need the next size up.These slippers have made this winter much warmer and comfier.

Best gift ever!
I received my first pair of Juliet Old Friend slippers as a Christmas gift from my son. They were one of the best gifts I've ever received. They have memory foam and conform to my foot; they have a hard sole and I practically live in them indoors. I have orthotics in my regular shoes, but have no foot pain wearing Old Friend without orthotics. I am probably on my 4th pair as I usually order a new pair every year for myself when I find a good sale on Amazon. (Prior to ordering, I used to wear $10 slippers from the big box store, but no more). I usually order a size up because I wear them with socks. They are tight for a few wearings, but soon are broken in to be the most comfortable slipper ever. To be honest, I was shocked at the price that my son paid originally, but they are worth every penny.

Wonderful slipper! Comfy but too short.
The quality of this slipper is wonderful, very very cozy and comfy. The size however is too small. Normally I wear a size 10, so I ordered a size 10 as was recommended. I wear socks with my slippers and these were just too short, cramping my toes. If I were to go without socks the size probably would have fit better. So I had to go with a larger size. I wish these came in half sizes!

**AWESOME SLIPPERS**
Have owned quite a few pairs of this type of slippers. From LL Bean to Lands end and other high end retailers. Who ever thought of the name "Old Friend" got it right!Not only are they comfortable like that over-washed sweatshirt you always find yourself in, but the quality is remarable. I agree if you are a 1/2 size go up to the next. I'm a 7 1/2 and the 8 fit perfect. Love the outer sole that can be worn outside without the thought of destroying them. 5 STARS across the board with these. Also this paticular style is wonderful in that you can roll up the cuff and have a mid-rise ankle boot that doesn't make your feet too warm or should I say sweaty. A bonus is that you can removethe inner sole to clean it so you never have an oder or matted down sheepskin, and if I read right they are replaceable. How can you beat that!My forever friend!!!!!

Size up.
I've purchased these slippers at least twice before. This time they were not true to size. The 9s fit like an 8 in both length and width. If this is true of the current batch, I would definitely size up one or two sizes.

Wonderful slippers
I love the Old Friend Juliet slippers. I had bought a pair here in New Zealand about four years ago but sadly they had become worse for wear and I wanted to replace them but no-one here seemed to sell them any more. I ordered a similar pair from a wonderful NZ retailer but, lovely as their slippers were, they were not as comfortable as my Old Friends! (Their toe area was pointed, not nice and rounded like the Juliet.) So I sent them back and Googled Old Friend Juliet and, hey presto, Amazon had one pair left in my size. It's the first time I've ordered footwear online from overseas but I knew I was safe because I already had the same ones. I had great service and it made buying from overseas much easier. When my new slippers arrived a week later, I was delighted with them and absolutely love wearing them. Not only are they warm and comfortable, they look really lovely.
