Best Running Shoe I've Owned

Excellent shoes, these are super comfortable and have a nice feel to them while running. What I like most about the shoe is that it breathes extremely well. I wear them with short socks and they fit true to size and never get hot or clammy. The color and design of the blue/gray looks really nice as casual wear too. Overall, this is the best running shoe that I have ever owned. Highly recommend

Great cross trainer

Great shoe! Awesome support! I can work 16 hours straight in these and not have aching feet. I can run well in these and they promote proper strike. Would not run more than 6 miles/10k in these as the cushioning isn’t there to support that kind of run. Anything less is fine and lateral, explosive movements are good with no instability felt.

Great shoes

I was nervous about buying shoes from Amazon. If they didn't fit, I would have to send them back and still be without new shoes. Fortunately, I had an older pair and the size hadn't really changed.I am not a runner however I do a lot of walking. I walked for nearly eight hours at an amusement park and while I was tired and my knees ached, my feet still felt pretty darn good. They did change my gate a little bit. I think I overextend my left foot when striding because I could feel the heel touching before the first rounded cushion. Not a big deal but interesting to note.

Most comfortable shoes ever!

The cushioning is stellar! I am a short distance runner... only about 3 miles per day. I love the shoes. I used to wear Brooks. My clouds are much more comfortable. Only drawback is that they squeak when the soles are wet and the heel compartment could be a little tighter.

Love the Bounce in My Step

First off; I no longer run. I use these for walking. I have spinal damage which affect my legs & feet (painful feet), along w/ bad knees from yrs of sports & running. I LOVE these shoes, have been wearing them for 4-5 months now and no noticeable signs of compression-still have bounce (good shock absorption). And being a very light weight shoe it affords me more time on my feet & legs than the majority of my running shoes. The toe box has more room than my Asics & Brooks, but not as much as many New Balance styles. Also my foot isn't forced onto my forefoot, which for me, is a killer on my metatarsals, spine & knees. If I had to design a near perfect shoe, I would use this shoe technology but would drop the heel just a tad bit.I would like for this company to make larger sizes in the women's shoes. It is now 11/2019; ON, PLEASE go back to this design. Even w/ the 2019 shoe(reported to be like this old one), it's still not like this older model. Please, oh please! I still have my old ones which I have glued & wear on my bad pain days.

A nice shoe, but much heavier than expected

I was asked to write this, but have only run in these shoes three times so it's a bit early to see. I had a friend who ran in these and when I asked him he told me they were 11oz in a size 11. That sounded good to me. It's not always easy to find out how much a shoe weighs in your particular size as the companies don't provide that (they tend to give you a size 9, then you have to figure it out) and On isn't carried in local running stores. So I went ahead and purchased only to be find out these are about 12.5 oz in my size. Not good. But I needed a new pair of shoes and since I was the one who ordered them decided to give them a try.I don't pronate much, or supinate for that matter so I can run in just about anything as long as they are comfortable. These met that test and seem pretty sturdy. I tend to get between 300-350 miles in a pair of shoes and hopefully these are in the range. The laces provided are a little thin but they stay tight. While the shoes are definitely heavier than I prefer so far I've done well in them and my last run was actually very fast (for me) indicating that despite the weight you can get a good turnover. The soles are unusual. I've never seen anything like these before but so far no issues.I'm still evaluating and it may be a few months since I rotate 3 pairs at a time, but hopefully can update this in terms of durability.

Best Running Shoe

Big fan of On Running after buying these. The toebox is nice an roomy, so your toes aren't all quished together. Realize that these are purpose shoes...they are for running, so they aren't as comfortable if your using them for everyday use. If you're going to want something for everyday, I'd recommend the Cloud X, which I also own (although it has a smaller toebox than the Cloudsurfer). The only thing I would say needs to improve are the laces, as they do come untied easily. Other than that, awesome purchase
