Often I'm comfortable, but my feet are cool. These did the trick. While I may look funny wearing them, my feet are WARM. The soles allow me to wear them outdoors on concrete, but I don't walk in the grass. They should last a long time. There wasn't a left or right, but over time they decided which was which. I love them, but "I" wouldn't wear them to WalMart.
I bought these for a Christmas present for my nephew. He’s very happy with them. As the add says, they are more for indoor use that can be used for light outdoor use. I agree with this. The soles are thick, but not hard. As listed. The height of the sole wall isn’t much & bring that they are woven, I would guess the slipper’s fabric would get wet, along with your feet. However, these are meant to be more inside, so I’m not composing about it. Just warning future buyers. They are very comfortable & warm to wear. Attractive and well made. The insoles are amazing. So soft. Great slippers. I recommend them & am happy with my purchase.
So perfect for around the house. Keeps the feet warm and comfortable. Skid proof. Slip on and off and last a good while too.
My partner goes through slippers like the dickens, but these have lasted so long and maintained their quality! He loves how warm they are and how durable the soles are as well. Slip resistant, good grip, perfect fit, and he loves the color. He works from home, so he practically lives in these! Definitely a win.
Not very comfortable
I've worn various "camp booties" as slippers by the bed for late evening walking around. However, changes in brands, manufacturing methods (and apparently sizing) gave me a lot of concern in selecting replacements for the last booties I had -- they were truly getting worn out. After agonizing over my possible selection, I settled on a pair of these -- even though they were rather different in construction and materials of the previous booties. I was delightedly surprised. Even though the price was moderate, the construction seems to be reasonably sturdy, and the sole (a ribbed, flexible plastic) seems more durable than expected. They are comfortably warm (better than expected) and they're easy to slip on and off, yet do not allow any uncomfortable cold air intrusion. Fit is perfect for a size 12 (the metric size matches my Birkenstocks). I note that if I wear socks, they feel just a bit tight, but without the heavy wool socks I usually wear, the fit feels perfect. (And socks aren't really necessary.) Perfect for around the house, and no problem with a brief visit to the front walk or garage, if necessary. I suspect that walking on concrete, etc., would likely wear the soles more rapidly, but with most of my walking on various floor coverings, carpet, rugs, wood, tile) I can't actually see any wear on the sole after a few weeks. I recommend these.
I dont know how long these will last but they are great warmth in the winter here. They are as warm as my original sheep skin wool slipper that finally are wearing out. The soles are very light and flexible so you don't feel like shoes but wont feel the wetness if you step on a wet floor.**Update** They are still warm and good feeling slippers 1.5 months later EXCEPT the top material is balling up just from them rubbing together when you have your feet crossed of the foot stool. I am feeling like they might not last the winter here and yes I wear them everyday when I get home from work. Therefor I am reducing my star review, disappointed in the quick wear....
