I got these Mary Jane style shoes for my granddaughter to wear to church - and while they are cute they are much heavier and ‘chunkier’ then I had expected. They are true to size and fit her well but she complained they were too heavy to wear for very long.
They are cute but should be half the price. They're made from the cheapest of materials. The soles are foam. The velcro straps are convenient and the patina of the shoe looks like leather. But you can tell it won't last long. I don't know what I was expecting from kids shoes in this price range but I was expecting shoes that could withstand the activity of a child.
