Designed for Swollen Feet... and Perfect!
These are perfect! I recently had a series of spinal surgeries and after the last one, my left leg was paralyzed. I'm slowly learning to walk again but I have had edema in my left foot for the better part of a year and I have to wear a brace that goes into a shoe. I ordered my typical size and they fit perfect even though my right foot isnt swollen very often. The velcro opening goes all the way to the toes making it very easy for me to open and close them and to get my brace in, and my swollen foot still fits. They are lightweight but seem sturdy. I havent worn shoes for nine months and finally being able to helps me feel more independent and almost normal again.

Best Walking Shoes Ever
I bought these just before going on a trip where I knew I'd be doing a lot of walking. There was a lot of trepidation in this purchase. I have short, fat feet with bunions and high arches -- usually a nightmare to fit. I literally had no time to try them out beforehand. They went from receipt, to suitcase, to walking. They turned out to be the most comfortable shoes ever! I was walking in brand new shoes, in the hot desert with swollen feet, and I never had even one minute of difficulty. Now that I'm back, they're the shoes I grab whether I'm going walking or to church -- they look and feel good no matter where I use them.

Very comfortable and attractive sneakers
When I saw these shoes on the Amazon site, I was strongly attracted to them. I do a lot of walking outside in differnt types of weather. I have experienced times when my feet would swell or become sore around my little toe and under the balls of my feet. So, trying out an Orthopedic sneaker sounded good to me. My normal shoe size ranges between a US size 8.5 to 9, medium width. Generally, if the shoe is open toe, I will wear an 8.5 and if the shoe is a closed toe, I will wear a 9. I ordered this sneaker in the navy blue color, size 9. I normally wear short sport socks with my sneakers. This sneaker with socks is a perfect fit on me and comfortable. Without socks, it is too roomy on the sides. This is something to take into consideration when selecting the correct size for this sneaker. Features: 1) Designed to accommodate feet that have a tendency to swell. 2) Very comfortable and will accommodate a wider foot. 3) Available in several colors and sizes. 4) Has a soft, comfortable and cushioned inside sole. The area around the base of the foot and the toes provides additional comfort and reduced the pressure on my feet with several raised bumps (see pic). 5) Really easy to slip on and off. The velcro opening is very wide to allow you to easily step in and out of the shoe. 6) Stylish, light weight shoe with a low heel height.I like this 5 star sneaker and fould it to be very comfortable. I recommend this sneaker for walking around the house, running errands, shopping, walking the dog and walking on the treadmill.
