Great Fit and Comfy!

Pleasantly surprised these fit right out of the box! I've been on a mission to find the perfect shoes to wear to accommodate my post surgery big toe. Most shoes are pretty shallow in depth and push down on my recovering toe. Those shoes, of which there were many, went back for refund immediately. OrthoFeet are, on average, significantly deeper which is why I've kept 2 pair thus far. I like Naya Hands-Free Sneakers the best so far. They're heavier than the others but I like knowing they're really sturdy and big plus, that they have almost rigid outsoles. My toe has been fused and doesn't tolerate flexibility in a forefoot sole. With these there's barely any bend at all (I may still use carbon fiber inserts under the insole to test if they provide better stiffness). Having a rocker front sole works with the rigidity to smoothly 'roll' through a stride without bending toes. Love that! I also like the tough, heavy-duty fabric used on these shoes and the band that criss-crosses the top of the shoe for adjustability. I much like the look over laces. Did I mention how comfortable they are? I went 1/2 size larger than I normally wear and in a 'Wide' width which I've never needed before my foot surgery. Wide options seem to be the most comfortable with my sometime swollen foot. My other, not affected foot seems perfectly happy with the larger-sized shoes. I thought I might have issues with slipping heals or too much movement in the shoes. I'm not sure why they don't, as the toe area is very roomy and non constricting, but doesn't effect the heel at all. Lastly, I'm a fan of the step-in technology that seems to be spreading across different brands these days. Love that OrthoFeet has a pretty good selection of them now. If you have any doubt at all, just know these shoes are quality and worth the price. OrthoFeet's return/exchange policy is one of the best I've seen.

Great walking shoe, great fit.

Great shoes, but I don’t run in them, I do good to walk, as I’m mobility challenged. These shoes are great for what I need. I like ability to customize with the arch insert, and the extra sole thickness inserts. Too bad they don’t make the here in the US, as I’m trying to but US made products.

Comfortable and fits well

I bought these for a client of mine who has a horrible gait on both feet. She also has developmental and intellectual disabilities. I needed to find a shoe that was easy to put on and comfortable based on her needs. She loves these so much! Says they’re comfortable, not tight and easy to put on when she doesn’t have a staff to help her. I also needed a good enough quality that is not going to fall apart easily due to the way she walks, she drags her feet. I read lots of reviews stating these are great quality and last. So time will tell. I’m hoping because they were over $100 that they will last while. I like the fact they offer wide and she can just slip them on.I have 4 stars instead 5 since she’s only been wearing them for about 3 weeks. I’d like her to wear them longer so I can see how the quality is. If mine or my clients opinion changes in the future, I will come back to update my review. I also bought her another style in this brand so I’m sure she’ll be alternating between the two and not wearing these every day

Way too stiff and tight

These shoes are so stiff. They pulled my sock up so tight I could tell if the toe box was big or not. I bought som OrthoFeet shoes before and returned them as well. I hope i remember not to try again!

What an expensive nope!!!

Can't imagine what other people are talking about! They are unwearable as the unadjustable firm tongue pushes hard into my ankle. No way I could even limp in them, much less walk! The shoe itself fits fine, but that tongue is too long and much too hard!
