Tough on dirt, And better protection for your feet
This is one of my third pairs from this brand. I am a big fan of this companies boots. The craftsmanship of the boot is fantastic. They are also slippers resistant and have great traction. The zipper works quite well easy for me to slip on my shoes when I’m in a rush because I can leave my shoes tied. Also, they are easy to clean with a simple wipe on the bottom. I am in the industry where I need to have Wally protected shoes. I used to go for pairs I used to cost 300+. But once I discovered Amazon, I started purchasing my three pairs so far through Amazon. I am truly a big fan of the brand and also a lot of people see me with the boots and asked me where do I get them. Open up your Amazon and I will gladly give you the name and also help you drop it in your cart. Fits as expected, discomfort at the back heel / lower vertical part of the foot, happy with purchase
It fits perfectly when I ordered my size! Maybe a bit snug, but a comfortable kind of snug! And still lots of space for my toes, which I was hoping for.The back of the heel part of the boot, however, is hard and presses up against the back of my foot. [EDIT: The boot has broken in and it’s okay there now.] Another reviewer had the same problem, and got blisters. (I haven't had a workday in these yet.) But the other reviewer solved the problem by putting some 3x3 inch padding at the back, and from what I can tell, that should work for me too. I'm going to do that today or tomorrow. Next time I order a pair of these, I might go up a half-size to see if that solves it, but I'm worried that might be bad for the rest of the fit.[EDIT: I bought 1/4” Neoprene foam padding from XCEL, but those didn’t work because the adhesive wasn’t strong enough to handle the wear of putting on and taking off the boot. However, the back heel part of the boot has broken in, and it’s not nearly as uncomfortable as it was on the first day.]I'm nevertheless very pleased with the purchase, and I'm keeping them:- Great for the price- Great fit (except for that heel issue)- ASTM F2413-18 approved for the Toe and for EH (Electrical Hazard) so I'm insulated from the floor. The product pictures show that the boot is also ASTM F2413-18 PR (Puncture Resistant) but I don't see the PR label on the inside of the tongue—only the Toe Impact & Compression, and Electrical Hazard. It's kinda sketchy that PR label isn't there, but hopefully that's only a printing oversight.- Love the zipper; YKK zippers are quality. I would hate having to tie my shoes all the time, especially for taller boots. The top two are speed lacing, so not that bad. The lace eyelets seem to be thick plastic, not metal, but they have no give, are sturdy, and I'll be using the zipper anyways.- Grippy, thick rubber soles, but you're not going to be able to resole these shoes like you might with more pricey leather boots like Red Wing or Thorogood. In the long-term, if you're down to take care of your boots, those brands are probably the better option.- WaterproofI'm personally still hoping on some workboot that fits all my requirements of: good fit; ASTM F2413-18 for Toe, EH, PR; zipper side or BOA; waterproof; union/worker-cooperative-made; vegan leather; and even zero-drop / barefoot. These OUXX seem to come very close, just missing the last 3, but hey, sometimes ya can't have it all.[EDIT: If you want a more zero-drop feel, you can take out the insole and order a flat insole.]

Good except inside heel
So far, this is a great boot. It's literally the first item of clothing I've ever ordered without trying on first, and I was really leery about doing so. Unfortunately, I couldn't find exactly what I wanted in any brick-and-mortar store, so I took the chance. I was well pleased with the fit - I'd say it was pretty much exact. The only problem I had was with where the boot rubbed the backside of my heel. The problem was so bad that I almost had blisters after about a half day of use. I solved this by adding my own 3-inch square of padding in that area and, with this slight modification, the boots are so comfortable I barely know I'm wearing them. Even after a full day in the boots, my feet feel like I've been wearing tennis shoes. I haven't had the boots long enough to rate them on durability - perhaps I can update this review later with that information. The main reason I bought these boots was because of the 600-pound puncture resistance rating. There are very few boots on the market that offer this kind of puncture resistance. After stepping on a nail that went all the way through my boot last year, this became a must-have feature.

Solid pair of boots
I originally bought these in Wheat color. I wore them for work and found them very comfortable and easy to get in and out of because of the side zipper. The steel toe doesn’t bother me as does in my other boots. Solid pair of boots with all day comfort. Now I have the black leather too and I like them just as much plus it is easier to keep clean versus the wheat color.

Unacceptable Shipping
I will start by saying that these are good boots. Mine have lasted more then a year in an industry that is hard on boots, but all boots must die. They are now uncomfortable and no longer waterproof which again I am fine with, they far exceeded the lifespan of any other boot I have had in this industry. Time for new boots, no brainer I will get these boots again. Ordered on 2/19 with a delivery date of 2/22, a bit longer than I like but I will wait for a good product. Afternoon of 2/22 I look and they still say arriving by 7pm, great. Work 12 hours and get home to no package. Amazon then shows in my account now arriving on 2/27. My feet hurt and now your telling me that I have to wear these old boots 5 more days. UNACCEPTABLE!!!
