I received my new Ovation Paddock boots today, and I'm extremely please. They fit perfectly. Purchased a 41, and wear 9.5 - 10 shoes. One foot a 10, the other 9.5. Usually purchase 10. Boots are nice looking and made well. Great purchase for the money. Highly recommend. I've been loyal to Ariat for years. My last leather paddock boots lasted on 1 1/2 years. Wear predominantly on the weekend when I ride. Sole detached at the toe. Quite disappointing for Ariat. Try these boots. Don't think you'll regret. Perfect for schooling.

Good paddocks

So far so good. These are my favorite riding boots. They do need to be broken in but definitely worth every penny. Only down side is the zipper is kinda tight if you were high socks and they’re thick.

Detached heel after 3rd use!!!

The boot looked great, was comfortable and a perfect fit for my 12yo. Unfortunately the heel detached from the boot after the 3rd use of typical riding lessons. I’ve read reviews with similar issues but was hopeful the problem was resolved... The boot is intact otherwise and the boot itself looks to be durable, just not the bonding between.

stylish and nice

These fit my wide feet very well and feel true to size with no pinching. The leather is a bit stiff around the ankles of course but the elastic band running through it helps break them in faster. These are sleek enough to be able to add half chaps over them or wear thick socks in colder weather. Good for year round showing. The sole is grippy with enough traction to walk on multiple surfaces. My version was slightly different than the picture which is a minor annoyance- the picture shows spur keepers on the heel which mine DOESN'T have and no pull tongue which mine DOES have.

The zippers work well.

I normally wear a size 10, so I ordered the 41, and they fit. They are not as comfortable as my previous boots, but they are half the price, so I am not complaining. They are easy to clean. Since I have only worn them a few times, I cannot tot address wear.
