Great fit
As advertised. Fit is perfect easy on and off but not sloppy. Traction on algae covered rocks was good. Didn't attach the metal studs yet. Like the fit much better than Simms basic boot.

Quality and sound is what I expected.
I bought these as a quick replacement after my Orvis Pro's fell apart and had to be returned for warranty. These boots are great for the money. Keep in mind that you are not getting as much support or ruggedness as a $300+ boot, but these have held up very well so far and are comfortable. The felt is as good as any other felt boot and the hard stations for attaching the studs great. This is the same system as used on Chota boots. One thing to keep in mind is that the included studs have a wide thread so if you use them they will create a large hole and you will need to use the same size screws for future replacements. I recommend using kold cutters or some other brand of studs instead as they have a smaller diameter thread. That's my only real complaint, if it could be called that. Also, DEFINITELY BUY YOUR ACTUAL SHOE SIZE.
Lots of ankle support compared to The Stonefly pair by Paramount. I wear a Hoka 10.5 tennis shoe and Paramount size 11 fit me perfect with normal pair of smartwool socks. I fished for hard for 3 consecutive days in strong current and boots did amazing and felt looks brands new. The boots weigh light when stepping out of water. Great value in my opinion.
They say to buy your shoe size - believe them. I like this boot! It’s easy to get on and off and fits a little loose for me since half sizes aren’t offered. The felt bottom and included studs make it a very functional wading boot. Certainly recommend
Compare these boots to the big guys (Orvis, Simms) and it’s a no brainer. Although I can’t speak to their durability, they are fully Goodyear welted. The felt sole is glued, but that’s pretty standard. Unlike many boots twice the cost, these have lugs for the studs. Most other require you to screw into the felt. That easily results in tear out if a stud gets caught. While it’s possible with these boots, it’s much less likely. The felt sole will get filthy walking to the creek, but once in water they clean up and are grippy on rock. If it’s mossy, please use studs, otherwise you will be ice skating.I like the lace ankle lock that keeps the laces snug even if they come untied.I wear size 12 in a normal shoe. With a 3mm neoprene sock these in size 12 were spot on. So buy your natural size if you have a standard foot.
These are a good value. My Simms now stay at home. Fairly light and comfortable and provide better traction than any rubber sole wading boots.
