Great Thursday Boots Captain Knock-Offs
So far so good with these boots! I was about to order the Thursday Captains when these popped up as a recommended item. The styling, color, and shape of the boots is fantastic. The exact style I was looking for. I bought these primarily for use on my motorcycle and the picture below shows the boots after one ride. The leather feels good and I can tell they’ll break in nicely. The leather is quite thin which is where I imagine most of the cost savings is. Again, this is fine for me because I prefer a boot that protects but doesn’t hot box my feet out on a ride. Overall, at the price point I’m happy with the purchase. I wear a US Men’s Size 11 in Adidas and Nike, and 12 in Puma tennis shoes. The 10.5 fit perfectly for the boots. Just enough tough wiggle room for thicker socks if I need them but not so much room that they feel clunky.

Very comfortable from the start, but not very durable.
I have had these boots for a year now. Let me start off with, these boots are incredibly comfortable! The materials need almost no break-in time. With that being said, it means the materials are pretty flimsy. The soles of the boots are foam and wear out very quickly. The "leather" is very thin and seems to be wearing out fast. I wear these boots almost everyday because the more "flimsy" material makes the boot really mold to your feet, making them very comfortable right off the bat. They can be styled in many ways, either dressed up for formal events or dressed down for a more everyday outfit. The downside is the longevity of the boots. They will need to be replaced within a year or so if worn a lot.

Stay Away
These boots are definitely not new as stated—maybe recrafted from used leather boots, but the pair I received and returned had used leather. Apart from having a new outsole and insole—which had obscurities—the leather was heavily broken down around the foxing and the heel counter. It showed folds that would be from long term usage. There were also multiple nicks and scratches all over the boot with appearances of attempted repair.

Copy of Thursday Boot, still worth it
This boot is a direct copy of Thursday's Boot Company Captain's boot. Much better value. I can't tell the difference between the two, fits well, and appreciate the weathered look.

Meh.
They're cemented, not a Good Year welt. So, they'll separate easily from the sole. Leather is very stiff and uncomfortable for the first few wears. Another minus is that it wears like a shoe more than a boot. I almost threw them away, but decided to give them to someone. I purchased Thursday Boots for a little more money. Now, THOSE are some nice, quality boots.
