Comfortable and soft loafers, but size up, tight fit!
First I want to start off by saying, I have a pair that is identical but from a much pricier renown British brand and these loafers are incredibly soft, lightweight and genuinely comfortable. Honestly, they feel like walking on a cloud. The blue color is gorgeous and easy to pair with almost anything, and the elastic side panels make them effortless to slip on and off. What I love about lot about them is the snug fit. As a former ballet dancer, I need shoes that allow my toes to spread naturally, and these do exactly that even when tight at the tip. I don’t have bunions, but I do have arthritis, and shoes with soft insoles, decent room and flexible soles work best for me, especially when standing for long 12-hour shifts.Comfort wise, they offer solid arch support as comparable to my old Clarks loafers, which these strongly resemble. The faux leather is surprisingly good quality, soft and flexible, and with proper care (I condition them the same way I would couch or car leather), they should hold up well. They also function almost like a soft mini-boot, making them a great option for cooler weather. The only downside: they run small and snug, so sizing up is important. I normally wear a EU 39 (US 7.5), but needed a EU 40 (US 8) for the right fit. Once sized correctly, they’re excellent. All in all, these loafers deliver great value for the quality, comfort, and support you get. If you size up, you likely won’t be disappointed, they’re nearly identical to my favorite loafers from the aforementioned and much more expensive brand.Disclosure: This review is part of Amazon’s Vine Program, which provides products at a reduced cost in exchange for honest reviews (taxed as income).
