You won't want to take them off ever, ....wearing them everyday!
From the get go (At first glance) these shoes had my undivided attention. Let me just say here I am a man of a particular age and although I have no shame to admit that I long for things to wear that don't necessarily dictate that I have crossed into a mature age ( whatever that should be). And like one of them hallmark movies (that i don't watch Im just aware of them) out of no where comes this pair of shoes that I well, as sappy as it sounds, fell in love with. Not kidding and I'm a fool to even say but yet admit here but its just such a comfortable shoe to walk in with as it described, a premium cotton that compare to like a soft canvas material. A thick rubber sole that gives you the thrill of wearing sneakers. These shoes remind me of the 80's popular boat shoe that was all over the place but in hard leather compared to these shoes. I know many guys my age reading this will agree with me that all you want to walk in is something that will be comfortable to step out, No tight or narrow or rigid shoes that fit for style, Fashion Hype or whatever insane reason I had ...that was my youth. Now I can walk in these Pitas as i refer to them by their brand because even that sounds cool to me and feel like I can walk run and even exercise (that's not often) and be super comfortable and still look good or dare I even say cool and not have to look at orthopedics. Nothing against them as Dad wore them but Im just not ready for them ....yet. They are so light weight you would think they won't even last. But in my case heck yeah i will make these lasts, this is for life. Although my loved ones would say right now at the rate of you wearing these shoes every day you will need a new pair by the end of the year. So I have started wearing them every other day or every other occasion. But now Im just thinking Im going to get two other different pairs from Pitas and then no one will judge me and i can extend their life cycles. I know i sound silly but at my age it's acceptable. I have even worn them to church services on Sundays because it feels so comfortable I feel Like I'm still relaxing at home. They are so versatile because they can look so kick back and yet casual formal too even when you don't have to tie your shoe laces. Most important to the Pitas Company you don't want to break our wallets (especially on a fixed income) just as long as they can offer a good value for a reasonably priced pair of shoes and one that many can afford. That why I look for a sale, Just sayin...

Wow!They're not kidding when they call these comfortable.They feel better and fit better than my current slippers: now I face the decision of keeping clean and using them for indoors (only) or risking them in the outdoors.Size is perfect for me: I'm close to a 12 mens US shoe size, but 11.5 W sometimes works. These are size 12 and exactly what I'm looking for in fit. I like a wide toe box: these shoes look on the 'normal' more narrow size, but feel like the wide toe box shoe that doesn't cause the "toe squeeze" pain I normally experience with c-width shoes. It might be due to the shoes' extremely soft-feeling pliable build.Also relieving is the soft collar area fitting just under the ankle bones. The collar is grippy enough to not 'slip' the shoe off your foot and grippy enough that I do not feel any tendency for the shoe to want to slip off my heel as I walk. Those are winning points for me.Style is understated and very attractive. My spouse even likes them! The soft neutral color with white stitched emblems in the mid-top area of the shoe is not in the least garish and I don't feel like a walking advertisement (as with some of my running shoes from different manufacturers LOL). A white solid soft cloth-like cushioned insert is placed at the collar on the outside of the shoe. Again, fashionably understated, in my opinion.The unique shoe-lace or no shoe lace feature is really nice. Because the fit (for me) is like a lace less slipper (and shoe fits firmly enough that I don't need to use laces), the outside design of the shoe looks natural with or without laces. Pretty good trick!Construction seems flawless.No over sewn or hanging stitches. Sole has no visible molding mistakes and seems firmly attached to the upper shoe all round, no excess glue showing anywhere.The footbed is removable, but stays in place with no adhesives or hook and loop. If you use orthotics, you might be lucky if they are fairly slim.Sole looks grippy, like a boat shoe should, but I can't address that feature because I seldom sail these days.I will not hesitate to wear them out to the lake if I decide to brave the elements.Recommended.I would not hesitate to recommend them to friends and family if they are able to get the same great fit I got with these shoes. Everyone probably has different online-shoe purchase experiences. These shoes for me were a pleasant surprise.

Super comfortable and they look great!
I have been wearing these shoes daily for about a month and I love them! They have become my go to shoes for summer wear.They are very comfortable, nice and soft inside but still supportive. Having never owned a pair of shoes in this style that you do not tie, I was leery. But they are great and stay on my feet nicely. I have been traveling a lot, it is nice going through airport security and not having to untie and retie your shoes.These shoes are holding up well, after a month of wear, they still look as new. They are easy to clean up, even in a light color they wipe clean easily. I accidently spilled spaghetti sauce on them and did not notice it until it was dried on, the sauce came off with ease and did not stain.The sizing seems accurate, I am between a 9.5 and 10, these in a size 10 fit me nicely and just slightly (but not too) loose. It would be nice if they came in half sizes, but the size 10 has worked for me.I will add that they look great too. I have worn them shorts and jeans, they compliment either nicely. I am going to buy another pair in a different color so have shoes to wear with different color pants/shorts. Great shoes, check them out!
