Sapphire="Summer" Navy & How I Wear Straps :)
I bought these SAPPHIRE blue Plakas even though I had 2 concerns:1- I was really hoping they'd match a NAVY blue outfit in my closet, &2- I was concerned about the STRAPS, because in my experience, tucking the lacing on the side, as shown in the pictures, only lasts for a couple steps before it all starts unraveling...I received these sandals today, & I'm happy to say that I was so pleased to find out that the SAPPHIRE blue is actually a "summertime" NAVY blue (meaning they match my navy items well, although they do look maybe a shade lighter than "classic" NAVY blue)And regarding the STRAPS, I just choose to tie a little bow in the back... & they look great while staying put! Great shoes, fit perfect. They are adjustable!!
These shoes are super cute and comfortable as long as you don't tie them too tight. What I love about them is that they can adjust to wide or narrow feet. All you have to do is pull on the straps until they fit your foot shape. I got the ones in taupe which I'm super happy with. I am usually a strict size 5 so that's what I ordered and they fit me perfectly. Just be aware that when you first get them and take them out of the packaging that there is a really fierce rubbery smell, but just leave them somewhere to air out for while and the smell will go away. I like that the shoes come with a little carrying bag. I will definitely use them when I travel. These shoes look so cute with casual summer/spring dresses. I am definitely happy with my purchase.

Not ideal, but ok for a very casual look
I bought these not expecting much. Because the price is so low, I assumed they wouldn't be very high quality, but they were actually better than I expected, with just one issue:Only these strings are holding your foot to the base of this sandal, so if you want a snug fit, you have to tie these strings tightly around your ankle, which almost cuts off your circulation. But if you don't do that, and you tie loosely, your foot moves around a lot and you have less stability. I tied them very tight, and my feet still moved around, so I just gave up and tied them loosely.But, overall, they are ok, they are comfortable and will look good with your casual summer outfits. I've worn them only once, so I don't know yet how they will hold up in the future.

The taupe sandals are very neutral in color and they fit very nicely. They are comfortable and so pretty. For just as I expected. Can I walk for hours in them? I’m not sure yet. I’ve been wearing them for about 3 hours now (around the house and at stores) and so far a normal sandal.Luckily for me the straps or both long enough to wrap three times around my ankles and they are the same length. I am buying them in the cream color as well because I love them.
