I’m genuinely impressed by the Plaka Relief Flip Flops! From the moment I slipped them on, I could feel the difference – the arch support is amazing, and they provide real relief for my feet, even after hours of walking or standing. The footbed is soft yet supportive, and the textured sole gives great traction without being bulky.On top of the comfort, they look fantastic. Very comfortable and cute.
These are my favorite flip flops. I regularly walk my dog on the gravel bar and I can walk on the rocks with ease. They are non slip and stay on really good when wet. I feel they give my back great support, I can wear them all day and my lower back doesn't bother me at the end of the day.Unfortunately I am having to buy a new pair because my puppy decided to chew one up and I am so bummed. I still wear them, chunks of rubber missing on the heel but oh well. At least my foot is still covered.I wear a shoe size 7.5 and I bought size 7 in these sandals and they fit perfectly. I totally recommend them.

Comfortable, good arch support
I have avoided flip flops for the longest time because I couldn’t stand the thing between my toes. When I got achilles tendinitis I had to quit walking around barefooted or in flats/flat sandals. My friend suggested these as a prettier alternative to crocs. I avoided for almost a year because of the toe thing. I should have gotten them sooner. The toe “ring” is so much more comfortable than a classic flip flop thong point and isn’t bothersome at all. The arch support is very nice and comfortable. The only downside as I see it, and why I gave 4 stars instead of 5, is where the side straps start and come up across the foot is right at the back of the arch so you always step on it/it’s always rubbing against the foot/back side of the arch. It’s more noticeable (and thus more annoying) on my left foot than on my right. And it’s a braided strap so there’s texture there, too. It’s not rubbing any blisters or intolerable, it’s just not something I can wear every day. They’re very cute and comfy and dress up most simple outfits. Highly recommend.

Not quite what I hoped, but still good
3 stars for fit and comfort5 stars for aestheticI love how these sandals look on my feet. They are very cute, and they don't bother my feet like some flipflops do. No rubbing.The fit length and width wise really well, but my foot volume is low, so the straps aren't as tight as I'd like them to be. The adjustable parts don't help with that. The toe ring is a bit too large so I do think these have the potential to flip off my feet as they stretch out with use.The sole is fairly comfortable, but I can't really feel the arch support. My foot doesn't feel well supported in these and some of my old aches and pains returned when worn for a long stretch.Compared to the TEVA flipflops, I prefer the TEVAs. They are snug and the sole is much cushier.I like these and I will wear them, but I'm not sure I will buy again.

STRAPS ARE TOO LOOSE, and strap adjustment doesn't work, needs design improvements
I wish so very much these would have fit - I LUV'd them .... it's a gorgeous idea BUT THE DESIGN IS POOR. I slid out of them as I walked a few steps because they were so loose.THE GOOD: great materials, and quality, and the footbed is extremely well made, super comfortable, and with an amazing amount of arch support. Had they fit properly I could see myself walking in them for hours on end without issue.THE BAD: the straps, even after adjusting them as per their video, are TOO LOOSE, TOO LOOSE, TOO LOOSE. and the adjustments straps end up sliding back toward their neutral position a little bit at a time with each step taken. Even the big toe strap is too big (and not adjustable); I had about 1/2 inch of space above my big toe once I slid into them. As a result, I had to work really hard to stay in them as I walked, which is exhausting! ... what tended to happen was that I'd slide out of them a little bit with every step, and 5 or so steps in, I'd be halfway out of them. So as darling as they are, their function fails miserably. I'm very well aware that one's feet swell the more one walks and as the day progresses, but even taking that into consideration wouldn't have mitigated the looseness of the straps - not by a long shot.I am 40 lbs. overweight at the moment (bad!) and my feet of course are also "thicker" as a result of this, so the fact that they were so loose on me blew me away - I would suggest that these are probably being given 5 stars by women who are a lot more overweight than I, and who have REALLY thick feet. Sadly, it didn't even occur to me to search the reviews for strap fit because I thought, "my feet are fat right now, and, the sandals are adjustable anyway, so the fit shouldn't be an issue" ... well I was wrong. And of course in hindsight, today, just prior to writing this review I did search the reviews and turns out lots of women complain that the straps are too loose.@PLAKA: please redesign these for the rest of us - my feet are not narrow, and neither are they wide - they are a normal/standard width, with a normal/standard profile. Sadly your sandals fit too loosely, and your adjustment system is poorly thought out.I like the look of these sandals so much that I thought about cutting them open between the insole and outsole seam to cut the straps shorter, then reglue everything back together - but alas, NO, just NO. So I say goodbye to thee, with a very sad face.#NOTfunctional #strapsTOOloose #needsREDESIGN
