Materials were unexpectedly uncomfortable

These shoes look much better in the product photos than they did out of the box. Perhaps I read the description too quickly because I was surprised to find that the outer sole was made of plastic and not cloth or even pu leather. I considered keeping them until I felt how much the plastic hurt my feet. I do have some chronic pain in my feet, but I was still expecting a better fit. Even with a size 11 they felt a bit tight. The overall style is cute, but I couldn’t imagine walking around in them. I returned them for a full refund.

These are good quality for the price and comfortable. I love them so much I’m going to buy them in the tan color. I am usually a 7.5 with somewhat narrow foot and the 7.5 was too long and wide for me. I ordered a 7 and they are perfect! They are not too heavy and easy to walk in.
