Size up half a size, but really comfy, great arch support
I really liked these shoes. The arch support was good, padding was nice, and they were really comfy, BUT they run about half a size small. I wear an 8 in regular shoes, a 8.5 in tennis shoes, and ordered an 8.5 in these and they fit more like an 8 unfortunately. I’d definitely recommend ordering up half a size in these.

Well-made, sturdy, lightweight, platform base tennis shoes.
I got these for my mom who is an 8.5 women's. They fit her really well. I wear an 8.5 wide and they were too short as well as not wide enough for me, so the size chart is correct with all of its exceptions on sizing. It's a good chart with a lot of useful information about how to get a good fit on this brand's shoes.I got them because she's elderly and the wider platform sole is supposed to provide more stability. It does. Obviously, she still has a fall risk, but these help her balance while she's walking. She's steadier out on asphalt or gravel or where she might step on something that could unbalance her.The shoe is well-made. The description says 'cow leather patchwork and I can see where there are a few pieces that might be leather, but they've been treated so I'm not sure. Most of the outer shoe feels like some kind of soft plastic, sort of like slick styrofoam. But the material is light, while still being tough and sturdy. The rubber sole is thick and slightly wide, as described. The entire shoe is not very heavy, which again, is great for my elderly mother. Good traction on the sole. Soft, easy to handle shoelaces. To me, the insert isn't all that cushy, but then, my feet don't fit into the shoe correctly. My mom thinks they're very comfortable. The insert is memory foam, not attached, easy to remove so you can replace it with something you like better.Overall, a very nice, well-made shoe definitely worth $45. Recommended.
