Love the ranger boots. I buy them every year for my two sons. They are very comfortable and look great with pants and jeans.
Worn um twice since I've bought um... and they're really comfortable! I'm on my feet all day; and I am ok in them on. Not too heavy. They fit as expected. The strings are a bit long. So you've gotta shove them inside of the boots! Other than that... I'm prepared for the rainy season!
Fake. Not authentic
My son loves these, the only problem we have had is, after a couple of months of daily use, some in wet winter weather, the sole began to separate from the leather on one boot. Our local (40 miles distant) shoe repair had a wait time of 2 months and a charge of $20, so I went the DIY route and got a tube of black Shoe Goo from Amazon and fixed it myself. Great success! He has been wearing them again for the past month to finish out the winter. Nothing special in the way of arch support, but he swears they are comfortable and he has reported no problems with his feet. A good buy, I would recommend, as long as you are ready to do a small repair.
I am on my fourth pair, and they're currently 2 years old. They are great, and are really versatile in style and function. They run about a half size big. I wear them to work half the year and they keep my feet warm and dry in all weather including snow without being hot or sweaty inside. After a couple years, they get demoted to winter hiking boots when I get another pair. I wouldn't want to go 20 miles in them, or wear them on really rugged terrain, or buy them specifically as a hiking boot, but I routinely go 6 or 7 miles without getting sore, and that's a lot to say for a retired work shoe. They come dry and need oil before wearing.
I was looking all over for another pair of Polo Rangers without the flaps and I found them here at a reasonable price. Polo generally run a little big so you have to always go down a whole size. I am usually a 6.5Y but in Polo's I wear a 5.5Y. They are cute with jeans, giving it a combat boot look with the straps. The boots are comfortable is having to do a lot of walking or standing on your feet in spite of the fact they don't have a cushion insole.
These look great on me. I'm a woman who likes to wear men's & boys shoes. The leather looks great, they're very comfortable, & quite easy to clean.
