Wide in the heel and not exactly true to size.
The shoes came in a nice box, with all of the paper and tissue expected with a new pair of shoes. They look, feel, and smell like leather. Somehow the toe area looks even more boxy in person.I read about these shoes before getting them and was prepared for them to possibly be sized incorrectly. That being said, I normally wear a 9, and 8.5 was the only size available. Since I saw comments that they run as much as a full size, or even a bit more, too large... I thought the 8.5 might be about right anyway, or even a little too big. Sure enough, the length fit about like my usual size 9 would.As I put my feet in, the first thing I noticed is that they aren't quite as squishy as I would expect with a name like "Project Cloud," but there was definitely some squish. (7 out of 10 for squish.) The arch area didn't feel like it had extra support, but the squish did offer a little help with that.Where the shoelaces tie feels snug, but the heel area is too wide on both shoes and there's no way to tighten that area of the shoe. My heels slide out with every step. Maybe some really thick socks would help, but I shouldn't have to go to that extreme to keep the shoes on my feet.They aren't terrible, but they don't fit very well. I will see if wearing them, and breaking them in for a while, helps. If I notice a difference, I will come back for an update! For now though, I would not recommend these shoes, unless you are prepared for the size to be too big and heels to be extra wide. If they had fit as nicely as I had hoped, they may have been worth the price... but as it stands, they seem a bit over priced.

Super comfy, fit great!
I can't say enough great things about these shoes!! I have awful swelling in my feet and ankles that makes wearing shoes unbearable at times but these are so comfy and fit so well that I don't have any issues. The soles mold to your feet to offer amazing support, which reminds me of popular sandals that do the same. They do RUN BIG though so make sure to take that into consideration and go down .5 or even a full size. After reading the reviews I got a 8.5, I normally wear a 9.5W in womens, but the 8.5 fits great! I think a 9 would've worked too though. The quality is fantastic, the stitching looks beautiful, the suede looks great, I'm really happy with them. I was worried about the square toe, it's usually not my style, but they look great with jeans! I was only able to wear them for a few days because we got a ton of snow but I'll update if anything changes with more wear.I do want to point out that they're suede and will need some type of water/stain-proofing in case they get wet or dirty. I used a suede spray and let them dry 24 hours before wearing them. This allows you to wipe them clean easily and prevent any water stains from dew on the grass, puddles or if you're like me and spill coffee & tea nonstop. I 100% recommend these!

Floppy
Received the correct size but there's no hold to the shoe. My feet fit but there might as well be no back to this shoe as the back doesn't grip my heel. When I walk, my feet come out of the shoe each time. I can prevent this by wearing really thick socks and they do keep my feet nice and warm as the weather gets colder. They work, for my needs and they leather looks really nice so I'm going to keep them.

Might work for you, did not for me
My friend has a pair of these and she swears by their comfort, so I was excited to get a pair. I did not have the success she did. I also did not have the issues of some reviewers. I found them to be true to size and not "floppy" at all. They are cute and well made and I like that they're water resistant and not heavy. I personally have a foot problem with my right foot being picky about shoes and these shoes squished my smallest toes on that foot. It was almost like the shoe was too narrow, even though it doesn't appear that way. I wore them to Costco and almost didn't think I would survive. I will give the caveat that this could be a me problem and not a problem with the shoes, but something to consider if your feet are particular about what they wear. I am sad, but most likely won't be able to wear these again.

Thick stiff sole with little flexibility
These shoes are very comfortable and easy to slip on. Length of the shoe is perfect. The width of the show is a little wide and the lace is not adjustable enough to compensate. The style of sole is thick and comfortable giving you a little lift and cushion. At the same time the sole is very stiff not giving the shoe enough flex. The heal lifts out of the shoe with every step rubbing the back of the heal. After a long day this blistered and became painful.This shoe is comfortable for around the house. The grip of the sole was surprising good even on ice. The thickness of the sole is not visually attractive and lacking flexibility. This would be a very nice shoe if the sole was not so thick and stiff.

Narrow toe box and fit wasn't great- material is nice quality
These shoes seem to be made of quality material but the fit was off for me. I ordered an 8.5 rather than my regular 9 or 9.5 since these are supposed to run big. They fit in the length. I probably could have gone with a 9 and still been fine (no flop). However the toe box is very narrow. It was not comfortable for my toes and I don't believe a bigger size would have changed that. The shoes also felt a bit shallow for my taste but that may just be because of the loafers style. All in all, these didn't work for me.
