Sizing is small in length and width
I should have listened to the reviews and sized up, but I am a pretty straightforward 9 in most shoes. These do not have half sizes after 9, so the next size in 10. I thought would be too big, but I was wrong. The 9 was too short, exchanged for a 10 and it was good. The size chart is right on and I should have check it out before ordering. Measure your foot and use the the size chart, you may need one or more sizes larger in these sandals.These are comfy right from the box, the foot bed is cushier but narrower than Birks, so they may not be a good fit for wider feets like Birks are. I use the 2nd to last notch and I don't have wide feet. I had several pairs of Birks in my hippie days and these are comparable. They are well made, especially for the price. The cushiony foot bed works for me, not too pillowy, but just right. I am having a foot issue and these have been sweet relief. The Chestnut suede has genuine leather uppers and foot bed, which I was not expecting. I expected the uppers to be manmade materials. I prefer genuine leather but the listing doesn't make it clear. The non-sueded leathers might to be manmade, but I have not tried them, yet. Will be ordering the black because these look and feel very good. Just be size your foot according to the chart before ordering.

My favorite shoes!
I love these shoes!! I get so many complements on them!! They are so comfortable. I am very sad that its going into fall/winter and I wont be able to wear them for a few months. They fit true to size. A great value for the money. They form to your feet and have great arch support. They are not to heavy. I will be buying more in different colors and will also be trying different styles by this brand!

Soft foot bed, hard toe thong
Foot bed is very comfortable. Quality materials and nice look.However, the thong (as noted in other reviews) is a hard plastic and very uncomfortable.The rim of the foot bed is soft.For me the sandal was true to size, but my heal came very close to the back. Because I have very weird shaped feet the shape of the toe area made the sandals look weird on me. It emphasized my bunyuns and slanted big toe.But for regular feet people these would look very nice. The only main issue is the hard toe thong.

nice but narrow
If this sandal had a wide enough footbed I could rate this with 5 stars as the leather is soft, the footbed feels supportive and comfortable and this is an all-around nice-looking sandal that appears good quality.However, I believe the footbed will fit only a narrow foot, as it does not fit my foot at all, and barely accommodates my child's.My ideal shoe size is 6 1/2 D but my young adult child's foot comfortably fits a 6 1/2 regular width and her "pinky" toes barely fit within the footbed, whereas that part of my foot simply will not.I hope this start-up company will redesign this shoe to accommodate a wider foot as I'd love to support them in the future.

Love the fit and feel
I purchased these sandals to replace my Birkenstocks that had worn down and were no longer comfortable to walk in. I had worn foot bed shoes before, so I thought I would give it a shot. I am so glad that I did. The foot bed has a nice cushion and the shoe supports my feet nicely with a snug and not floppy feel. The leather on top is soft and flexible but so comfortable from the get go. The post between the toes is a little rigid at first and will take some getting used to. I anticipate after a few wears it will improve. Although the soles are initially a little slippery on my floors, I think with some wear that will also improve. Overall a very satisfied customer, and project cloud is a really nicely constructed shoe.
