Easiest boot to get in and out of!

As the title says, it is so easy to get in and out of these. I also find them pretty high quality and very substantial. They're pretty heavy though, but that is expected for something which has some quality. As the largest concern to me buying this were all the negative reviews about the zippers, I think the zippers appear to be pretty solid, but I could definitely see that you could probably break them when trying to zip them up when the zippers are "spread" too far. I don't want to risk breaking them so whenever they don't want to go, I just pull the two sides together a little bit and they go right up with no problems, and they also appear to say zipped very securely. I may try to get some kind of lube for zippers to put on the bottom of the run to try an alleviate the initial zip.Others have mentioned that they are not insulated very well. While I agree that they are not fur lined or anything, I have tested them in snow between 10 and 25 degrees with varying layers of different kind of socks, and even with just regular tube socks, I've had no issues with my feet getting cold. I have very wide feet and I have a XX-Wide size, and I am able to wear think wool socks with no issues, and I also tried wearing battery socks over thick wool socks, and while I wouldn't want to walk a long distance like this, If I was going to a football game in the cold or something like that, I would be very comfortable with these. The insoles on these are very flimsy, just a very short felt pad, so I added a heavy duty insole with lumbar support, and there was enough room to just put them in on top of the regular insoles, and I immediately noticed a different in walking comfort, so if you do get these, I would highly recommend a decent insole. The treads are great for mud and snow. I have a pair of very expensive Carhartt work boots, but they have a tread which is awful in snow / ice, these are much better. All in all I really like these boots and I hope they last a long time.

Comfortably designed

Best fitting shoe for comfort, warmth, and durability. Keeps my feet warm, and dry in rain and the snowy weather. I choose this brand because of the availability of width for my 5E wide feet. The zipper is a plus. Great comfortable shoe.

Top-quality, but know that they're very stiff.

Top-quality leather and excellent workmanship. My only caution is that, when they're on and zipped-up, they're heavy and VERY stiff. If that's something that you want, you'll like these boots.

The boots i received are not true to size

This is not true to size, at least in widths. I normally wear whatever a brand has that fits a 4E foot, and have no issues with brands like Rockport, New Balance and Zeba.I purchased the widest size, and my foot was still too wide to fit.

Mixed Quality and Shoe Size Mixups

I have ordered three of these pairs of boots now for my Grandfather who has to have a size 13 3X Wide. The first pair that was received lasted him a full 2 years of heavy use (he is a cattle farmer) and were of excellent quality at a good price. The front zipper made it easy for him to take on and off as he struggles to bend over and has lost most of his range of motion. The second pair I ordered for him he is still using but the souls of the boots have already worn down not 3 months later requiring I order another pair for him. This last pair I ordered they sent a pair of size 13 2X wide which he cannot wear. I am attempting to return them and ordered a fourth pair which hopefully will yield the correct size.My mother ordered the same pair of boots with the same size for my grandfather during Christmas and has since gone through three pairs trying to get the seller to send the correct size. Not sure if they have stopped making the size 13 3X wide and are just stating it's available or why we are being shipped the incorrect size.
