Shoes fit small (width) compared to others made by Propet. These shoes are well made. After wearing them for a week, they are starting to break in. I am on my feet for 15 hrs a day. They go on a little tight and stiff, but seem to get more comfortable as the day wears on. I would buy a width 1 size larger than you normally buy with this brand.Update: shoes have broken in well and are very comfortable with good support.

Easy to take on and off. Waterproof. I can walk right thru puddles. I find these have made climbing and descending stairs easier for me. Nice and warm. Two problems, they run small and had to send the first pair back. Ordered a 10 1/2 and returned them. Reordered in size 11. They could use more velcro on the straps and shoe. I like driving in them and are a big help in the winter.
The shoe itself seems to be very well-made. I normally take a size 9D, and reading the reviews about the sizes, I ordered a size 9.5 Wide. I managed to get the right shoe, but it was WAY too tight. When I tried the left one, I couldn't get my foot into the shoe. To be fair, the shoe was deeply discounted, so perhaps it wasn't up to Propét's normal standards.
I've looked for some time for BROWN shoes with this type of fastening device, (there were many in BLACK but I couldn't find any in BROWN, until this product. They are superb in fit, function and appearance. So glad I found these! Highly recommended.
If you need a true 5E, do not order these, I just received mine and they are no where close to 5E, I measured the widest part of the front of the shoe and it is 4". According to what I can find, this is considered a D width. Sadly, I am at a US military base overseas so I will not be returning them, things typically get lost in the mail, so I will wear them till the toes blow out the side (people with wide feet know what I am talking about) and then go with another brand besides Propet. Shame, they seem to be well constructed and built to last.
This is the best pair of work shoes that I have come across in a long time. Good fit, sturdy, and comfortable, I bought a second pair for my son. 5 stars across the board.
