They are comfortable and seem to be truly waterproof. No break in time, comfortable to wear all day from the very first day. Even though they are higher up the ankle, the top is padded and it did not bother me at all. The color rubs off my dominant foot toe, but they are hiking boots so it's not a big deal. They fit true to size and I would recommend them to anyone wanting comfort and dry feet!

The shoe runs a little on the long side in comparison to other brands such as SAS. So in order to get the right width and length you might have to try a few different sizes.
