Very Stable; excellent materials.
This is really a well-made shoe. Not quite as flexible (in the sole) as many athletic shoes, but certainly more flexible than a traditional leather sole shoe. The two velcro straps are long enough to securely fasten the shoe to your foot (also, the velcro is excellent quality, and grips well). The exterior leather and sole, and interior insoles (there are 2--one is a "spacer") are all well made of good quality materials. I got the x-wide (about 3E in width), and there is plenty of room in the toe box. The shoe itself feel nice and stable when walking, and very comfortable. All in all, a great value for an excellent shoe.
