Dude, you really want these shoes even if you don't know it yet.
I think three months is a long-enough break-in period to give a proper assessment of these dogs.If you have foot problems--plantar fasciitis, gout flare-ups, underpronation/supination, metatarsalgia, flat feet, chronic heel pain, chronic ankle and Achilles tendon pain, or all of the above like me, these shoes are a fantastic start on the road to living a less miserable life. Purchasing these guys was an act of desperation. I had store-bought inserts that weren't working. I was having to take frequent breaks or avoid walking too much all together. I was completely useless and sad about it. My podiatrist thought I was a psycho when I looked her dead in the eyes and begged her to amputate my legs above the knee. I've never endured such pain in my life and it was ruining everything about it.Granted, I still need to get some prescription orthotics for my underpronation/supination issues and some more robust help for the plantar fasciitis, but these shoes help TREMENDOUSLY. The ankle support is TOP SHELF. I think that is the biggest relief. They mitigate the impact of my foot strike, as I plant my heel and roll forward when walking (a permanent habit from being on THE drill team back in college, IYKYK). THey're like a literal hug for your feet, they're so damn comfortable. I've never had shoes this comfortable. I love these shoes and I wish they had the black ones with the white sole available, because I want a pair for my black and gray wardrobe.Some of the other reviews complain about the quality of the leather. I don't know what they're talking about. These are frickin' nice. Not thin, not pleather-looking. Really good quality, as is the suede. The traction on the soles is really good, too. They're not too weighty, they're not chunky or bulky or awkward. I'm a substitute teacher and I had a high schooler actually compliment me on them. And he wasn't even sucking up to me, either. (They do look really nice, though.) What's really cool is that I can clean the leather with some saddle soap and/or lanolin or mink oil and really maintain these for a long time since they're good quality. The only minor issue is that the zipper requires some effort, but I find that it's easier if you zip them up before tying the laces as keeping them pre-tied and relying on the zipper might break the plastic zipper over time. A plastic zipper is a plastic zipper, regardless of how bourgeoise the shoes are.I've got nothing else to say. These shoes are perfect. Getcha some, even if you don't have foot issues, 'cause they look cool and they're even more comfortable than you may imagine.

Excellent but...
So.. The fit is great, they look good, side zippers are sturdy, only issue is the insoles that come with them. The shoes are supposedly have "duracloud" which is supposedly supposed to give decent comfort... Hard to feel and see that happening with insoles as thin as paper (I'm actually not joking). Besides the insoles (which I've already swapped out cause the others are a joke), these shoes are a fantastic daily/casual shoe.

First of all, I love these - they are comfortable and easy to get on/off. I bought them after owning two other pairs of Propet brand zippy-high top-boot-sneakers that each lasted around 18 months of regular wear (several times per week) - I am hooked and highly recommend them, and will probably buy another pair after these.Here's what I don't like:1. If you look at the soles of these shoes, they have weird cuts where there is yellow rubbery material - this design choice just dials down the otherwise classy look of the shoe - I'm a middle aged guy who wears these to work, and this sorta makes them feel like a pair of Nickelodeon-branded shoes from Payless.2. The Propet logo is branded on the back/heel of the shoe, which is not pictured in the photos. It's really not that big of a deal and in my case is usually covered by the back cuffs of my pants, but I would prefer it wasn't there at all if I had my way.

These are made with good leather like a pair of good pair of boots. The sole is stitched. This is a HUGE deal and very few shoe companies do this anymore. Most shoes have a "welded" sole which just means it's glued with heat applied. Shoes like that break down quickly and the soles fall right off. You won't have that issue with these shoes because they were sewn right to the saddle. They look great, they smell amazing right out of the box like a leather shop. The zipper on the side is great but it does try and catch on the step of leather used to keep it from rubbing on your skin or sock. But that goes away after about a month of wearing them. Best sneaker like shoe I've had in over a decade!

Issues with the shoe below after months of use.
My first review 5 stars was good that the shoe was comfortable and tight and seemed well put together, but that did not last long so I had to give an updated review. This is my second review on this shoe. After months, the shoe separated from the base, not on one, but on both I’m not sure what kind of glue they use, but it did not hold up for very long. There was one other issue. The shoes are pretty much airtight, which means if you sweat in them and take them off and not dry them completely They will grow an odor that smells like mold older by the morning. Will secure.They need to be more breathable and more better secured. I did like them while they lasted, but it turned out to be a disappointment in the end..
