I didn't buy my first pair of these boots on Amazon. I bought my regular size (10-1/2 W) at a local store and they were too narrow. I could not return them, so I loosened the laces quite a bit and wore them anyway. They were comfortable, of high quality, and they lasted a long time in a harsh work environment. I purchased the next pair on Amazon, choosing 11-1/2 WW. I'm still wearing them, and I'm still pleased with the comfort and quality. (Propet is a Canadian company, but they import their footwear from China -- just like most American shoe companies.)

Comfortable and durable

Incredibly sturdy. I use these for work. I do a lot of walking. I am on a maintenance crew and these endure quite a bit of punishment. A pair lasts me about a year. I'm on my fourth pair. Very comfortable and soft insole and heal. Like walking on air. Extra wide size is a must and these are true to fit.

Seems like a good hiking boot

Haven't used them yet on a hike but they seem sturdy and comfortable. I have very wide feet. 3E or even 4E in some cases. My normal size is 10.5 (usa). I ordered the in 11 XXW and they seem wide enough but I think if I had gotten them in 10.5, they would be too narrow in the toe. So my suggestion is to do a half size big if you have super wide feet.Plan to revise my review up or down after some hiking but thought I'd share what I learned on sizing.

I wear size 11 "wide" (probably E?) and ordered the 11 2E which were too narrow. Seller was great about the return and refund. I then ordered the 11 XX wide (are these real sizes?) which got here quickly and fit perfectly.Put them on and wore them for a full day and they were perfect with no break-in needed.They are warm for summertime in Okla. but completely worth it because of the comfort.I've always worn Merrell hikers before but they were out of my size and these were priced substantially lower so I figured they were worth a try.
