Amazing Comfort
I have only had these shoes for less than 24 hours, so I can't comment on durability, though they look to be very well made. I can however speak to comfort. I have very wide feet and a pretty high instep, so finding shoes that fit is pretty rare. I saw at least one comment that indicated that the XX-Wide version wasn't wider than non XX-wide. While I can't speak for any other size, the 10 1/2, XX-Wide (shown as 5E) on the box is indeed really wide. Many brands widths vary considerably with size and model, so take my comments as only applicable to the 10 1/2 XX width version of this model. When I put them on for the first time last night I was genuinely expecting the fit to be bad. It turned out to be perfect, and amazingly comfortable. Very rare for me without a lot of breaking in. Took them out for a couple of mile brisk walk this morning to see how the comfort level hold up under pressure. Found the support to be exceptional and the whole experience was more comfortable than I have ever experienced with a brand new shoe. The also look very nice, but I'm sure I will beat them up enough that the nice appearance will be only temporary. I also really appreciate the nice laces that stay tied. I bought some Lock Laces as I do with every shoe I buy, because the parachute cord laces that come with most shoes these days just don't stay tied. Haven't put them on yet, and may not. If these shoes hold together, they will definitely qualify as the best I have ever owned in 79 years on the planet. Very happy so far.

get a width bigger than you think.
Shoes are great. Comfortable, and look good. I wear extra wide, so that's what i ordered. Was still to narrow. sent them back and got double x, fit perfect.

I have weird feet so finding a shoe that fits is difficult.But, the shoe is great quality and on the right foot it would feel great. I was sorry I had to send it back.

Narrower than most
Let me begin by saying that my husband loves Propet shoes. This style, however, did not fit him as well as his others. He has always worn 8 1/2 X wide but these were too narrow for his feet. Unfortunately he had to return them. Other than that these are nice looking shoes that seem to be well made like all the others he has had from this brand.

Fit to size and comfortable to wear
The only thing I did not like is the way someone laced the shoe it was impossible to tighten till I redid the laces. Other than that no complaints. The shoes are comfortable to walk in even with one foot bandaged and being flatfooted they are comfortable and best of all they were available in 17 extra wide and I have searched high and low for shoes in my size. Had I not found these I would have bought safety shoes which I can get in my size easily.

Shoe Tongue came out after wearing three times
This is the second pair I have purchased. First one was the gray and this time the blue.I bought this a month ago and wore it maybe three times and I went to put it on today and the tongue was out of it.I am two days past the return date.I want to order another one but not sure if it will do it again so I am hesitant.It’s a shame because it was a great looking and comfortable shoe.

Not Expecting such a good fit
These shoes may look like old people shoes but there are worth every penny. If you have trouble finding wide shoes try these. I was very shocked they are wide. Many shoes claim 4E but they are not. These fit perfect. The strap is great for people who struggle to ties shoes. These fit better than my $400 boots.
