Defective Shoe
Normally, a very reliable and durable shoe, however, one of the lace holders on the top left side of the right shoe broke off after less than 15 walks in the shoe. This should never happen and I am past the return window at Amazon. Are there any Propet Sales Reps reading these reviews that would kindly help me out and get me a replacement???

Excellent wide sneakers!
These are the widest sneakers I can find. I tried New Balance 4E and they hurt the side of my foot. I tried Drew Aaron 6E and they felt as wide as a 4E. Orthofeet sneakers had a very high heel which was uncomfortable for me. These sneakers look great & are very comfortable.

Fit is good and comfortable, but check the build quality before wearing.
I was happy with the shoe when it first arrived because it fit to size and I was able to get my orthotics installed very smoothly. But within a couple of days I found a part of the rubber on the sole of the shoe was loose and one corner was already popping up. I fixed it with Gorilla Glue, then when that didn't work Shoe Goo and it seems to be fine now, but you can save yourself some hassle and money by checking the build quality before putting them to use.

To big and lacing problem
This product is nice. However, it does not have the proper eye lits on it to to tie it tighter. It only has 5 eye lites can not tie tighter to loose. You can not tie a runner’s tie for heal locking. If it had 6 or 7 eye kits you could do it.To big in the heal.

Not Comfortable
I thought Propet shoes were supposed to be comfortable, walking shoes. This one is clunky and not that comfortable.

Very good overall...
1st,The price is what nailed the purchasing. could not argue with or over it.2nd,it has been literal years since i've been able to find and to afford a single pair of shoes that are even relatively close to my actual foot size of "Mens' 8 DOUBLE extra-wide".3rd,as the ol' song says; "This opportunity comes once in a lifetime" and gotta you take it. the rest about mom's spaghetti on my sweater is not an issue...4th,my podiatrist jokes with me that my feet are so wide that i'm missing a toe. along with a documented history of foot and ankle injuries and being afflicted with type-2 diabetes and with having two feet that, structurally are like having the anterior of a duck and the posterior of a Bolshoi ballerina, which means that i my forefoot is extremely wide for size while the heel area is extremely small for size, finding the right size of shoe for the task is a very daunting endeavour.5th,there is no arch support with the original inserts, but thankfully Dr. Scholl's makes those really great, trim-to-fit inserts and i got them in all my shoes and boots.6th,the actual size printed on the shoes' tongues say that these are "Men's 8 5E". which for me means that the toe box is going to be, depending on the socks worn, will be snug or uncomfortably tight, while the heel box will be slip-off loose or just right. thankfully again, i wear the "XJ Max Cushion Crew Running Socks" by Thorlos so there is a decent balance of comfort and proper fitting.7th,Still waiting on the 2nd and 3rd pair of shoes. The one pair received today came from California, while the other two are coming from Maryland and Kentucky, which is really baffling to me because the Kentucky locale is a 25 minute drive from my home.so ponder about that ...my order was placed on the 1st of April, here it is the 4th of April and the item from California, 2087 miles away, got to me in three business days while the items that one is 660 miles and the other is 20 miles away from me won't arrive until tomorrow...maybe.8th,Overall with this pair i am greatly pleased. this is my 5th pair of shoes from Propet and i have not been disappointed.
